My dad sadly passed away in December, Hayley Owen was recommended to us by a friend. From the start Heyley took us through the process, explaining the various items that needed to be consider and made suggestions where we were unsure. Because of our Chinese heritage we had to follow certain customs and traditions, such as the colour of the vehicles, the large number of flowers tributes with dedicated white ribbons, the order of service incorporating Chinese characters and the recording of the service for friends and relative who were unable to attend the funeral due to Covid restrictions. All these were no problem to Hayley and her team. On the day of the funeral, everything went as planned, from the chapel service to the burial and everyone managed to say a final farewell to dad, which was a great comfort to us as a family but particularly to my mum. We are very grateful for the care and attention Hayley Owen Funeral Services have shown through out the whole process and would recommend them highly.

Hayley was lovely - she came out to see us personally despite Covid & explained the whole process very clearly & sensitively. She also recommended a celebrant who was excellent. She was informative but not pushy with any of the arrangements. On the day she was calm & reassuring & helped us all get through the day. We were very happy with her service.

Absolutely amazing service carried out by Hayley. It was a very personal service which was made a lot easier by the wonderful service we received by Hayley and her team. Arranging the funeral was easy and Hayley made us feel at ease the whole time taking it at our speed. Her funeral home made going to carry the coffin into the car a lovely experience as it is warm and homely providing us with our own room for the family to reflect on our loved ones life before the funeral began. Would 100% recommend to others as the whole team are so lovely and Hayley is amazing at her job! Thank you so much.

Hayley went above and beyond, our first contact was at the most inconvenient time in the middle of the night....she was kind, calm and supportive from that first call.
Victoria who helped with all the arrangements, carried on with the same ethos, supportive, friendly and guiding without any pressure.
In these very unsettling times of the pandemic, all the team at Hayley Owens were professional but also humanistic.
We were able to arrange a limited wake, most venues were unavailable but Wheatlands lodge hotel came up trumps after, with great attention to social distancing, the food was freshly made / baked , presented beautifully and the staff were spot on .

Hi. Everything went well. Only one hitch, I had specifically asked that an announcement was to be made that a luncheon party for those who wanted to celebrate Mike's life would be arranged for a later date. That announcement wasn't made. I did not want a list of those attending the service as there was only 15 people there. I have had to ring around them to ask if they want luncheon at a later date.

Hayley and her team did a fantastic job from beginning to end nothing was too much trouble.
