Hayley Owen and her team are excellent.
Arranging a funeral is never a good time for a family and with Hayley's professional help she guides you through everything every step of the way and always keeps you informed of what’s happening.
We have used other funeral directors in York in the past but we can highly recommend Hayley as the best in York and will always give her a call if we ever need to arrange another funeral.

I was really pleased with the whole service provided by Hayley and her team, under what were more than usually difficult circumstances. The calm and understanding manner of the staff put me very much at ease, I never felt pressured or rushed and the day of the funeral itself turned out to be a lot less stressful than I had imagined. I think we gave the best send off we could given the circumstances.

So kind and considerate, they really listened to our wishes and did a fantastic job of ensuring this was done.

Deciding who I wanted to look after my father’s funeral was not at all difficult.
I met Hayley Owen a few years ago because she arranged the funeral of a close family friend. I was struck at the time by her sincerity, compassion and consummate professionalism. Hayley has a vocation for what she does - for not only looking after a loved one with dignity but also looking after the family who are grieving. Hayley and her colleagues walked me through everything one has to go through at a time like this patiently and dealt with my phone calls and questions considerately. Nothing prepares you for the loss of a loved one but having the right person in your corner to assist you with the arrangements is a great help and comfort. I can’t recommend Hayley more highly. I trust her completely and you should too.

I met Hayley in November when my mum passed away and I was so impressed with the service she gave to me and my family was excellent, Hayley is so caring and I felt that every word Hayley said was genuine. In April 2020 my partner passed away with Covid.19 and I had no hesitation of who I was going to use for his funeral, Hayley and her staff are excellent and I would highly recommend her services to anybody who is in need of somebody who will care and guide you to do what is best for the family
