Providing the very best of care for bereaved families since 1981, Thornalley Funeral Services in King’s Lynn is a family owned and run business which upholds the traditional values of respect and dignity.
The team of professional, considerate staff are proud to care for your loved one and help you with every step of arranging a funeral. As members of SAIF (Independent Funeral Directors), you can be assured that all members of staff abide by a strict code of practice.
No matter how simple or elaborate your loved one’s wishes, Thornalley will make sure that you receive the very best of care. Whether your loved one wanted a traditional religious funeral or a contemporary celebration of life, Thornalley Funeral Services can help you plan the perfect farewell. You can choose from a range of coffins, including traditional hardwood, cardboard, wicker and bespoke designs. Thornalley Funeral Services has its own fleet of limousines, which each have room for seven passengers.
Thornalley Funeral Services is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a 24-hour service. If you wish to, you can arrange to view your loved one in a peaceful chapel of rest that will be set aside for your use, making sure that you can say goodbye in private.

Absolutely the professionals at Thornalley funeral service they done everything for me including flowers and arranging to have a stonemason come and take the headstone away and replaced nothing was to much trouble and it really does help when you only have one person to deal with everything and leave you to grieve for your loss a very professional company I cannot say enough about them thank you very much.

We cannot thank Andrew Thornalley and his team at Thornalley Funeral Services enough for the care, compassion, and dignity they showed while helping us say goodbye to our dad yesterday.
Losing him has been incredibly difficult, but from the very first conversation, the team treated him—and us—with such respect and kindness. They took the time to really understand who he was as a person, not just the arrangements that needed to be made, and that meant so much to our family.
Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every detail was handled with care, and their calm, reassuring approach helped guide us through one of the hardest times of our lives. They made a process that felt overwhelming much more manageable.
The service itself was beautiful and truly reflected our dad’s life. It felt personal, meaningful, and exactly what he would have deserved. So many people commented on how thoughtfully everything had been put together. Enormous thanks to Celebrant Helen Drake for her wonderful service.
We will always be grateful for the support, compassion, and professionalism shown to our family and for the dignity given to our dad. We would wholeheartedly recommend Thornalley Funeral Services to anyone needing genuine care and support at such a difficult time.
