Our Dad couldn't have received better care or plan a more beautiful and loving service. They were so considerate of our needs and supported us with the planning of the funeral very sensitively. Our deepest gratitude to everyone at Wickersley Funeralcare - they made us feel very comforted and supported at a very sad time.

Kirsty, Ruth and all of the team at F A Holland were so kind and supportive in arranging my Mum's funeral. Everything was done as we had asked, nothing was too much trouble and it would be so easy to believe that you were the only family that they were looking after. They made a difficult experience so much easier.

We couldn’t have had better service. Craig and Elaine were very helpful in the advice they gave us to help the funeral run smoothly. They were kind and patient and ensured that all of our wishes were met. They guided us, very professionally, through what was already a tricky time.

The service provided to us was excellent, Julie was an excellent funeral director as she kept in touch through each stage of the funeral planning and helped us through the hard period. Annie Barr was well looked after in their care, and they did a great job in dressing her up for viewing and her Service. It is very respectful knowing they had a private service for Annie. There was a severe lack of communication when it came to details of the funeral. We were not informed until the day of the funereal when the coffin turned up that it will not be opened in the chapel. In fact the day before I spoke with the funeral director - Criag - who said that I would be able to see him in the chapel. The planners - Chanelle and Amy - also told me during the planning that the coffin would be open in the chapel for 5 minutes out of 30 minutes, which we agreed to.

As you can imagine, this was very distressing as this would have been many people's last chance to see my husband before he was buried. We were told on the day that the council doesn't allow it, but in the 'Cemetery & Crematorium Rules & Regulations' booklet at point 18 it says "Coffins may be opened in the chapel during the service at the discretion of the Superintendent and Registrar". I spoke to the Superintendent and Registrar from the cemetery and he confirmed this, saying it's not against council policy, they just need to be informed beforehand by the funeral director and the ceremony needs to be at least an hour. The latter was definitely not told to me during the planning of the ceremony.

Would be really mindful with using this funeral service, I would not use agian.
