Howard’s funeral was beautiful our vicar Jonathan Jennings from st Margaret’s church Rainham did us proud . Everyone that came to give Howard a good send off throughly enjoyed themselfs what will toe tapping and singing through all the songs that were played on that day it was very memorable. Nick from the coop was very helpful before the service and after it was a send of not just for the family but friends too . Howard will be sadly missed but during his life time he made a difference to all our lives . Hava from the coop was also very helpful sorting out our songs for howards funeral we will be making arrangements to collect Howard’s ashes in due time. Thank you all so much for making Howard’s funeral stress free . Yours sincerely Denise Hazelden

We arrived at Co-op Funeral Care to be told the whole service was at the Crematorium when it had already been specified that there was to be a service first at co-op for older people who were unable to travel to Holytown Crematorium. The Humanist had to be contacted as he had also been given the incorrect information from Co-op. All Guests had to wait over half an hour to start service / no music at all not even background very embarrissing and distressing for all especially family. Made service not what we had hoped for. Coffin was supposed to be cherry looked like cheep light ply board the fitting did not look secure and the flowers which we were charged £215 for looked as if they were wilting.We have always used the Co-Op for other family and will never use again.

Thank you to everyone at the Co-op funeral care in Burnley. All the team were amazing and really took away the worry of organising the service during the most difficult time. The office staff were kind,thoughtful,patient and efficient. The flowers were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Julie and her team were excellent both before the funeral, checking that everything was as it should be and explaining what would happen and also on the day where they looked smart and ensured everything went to plan. Thank you everyone for your efforts, we really appreciated all that you did for us.

My only reservation in not giving a 5 star review was that I had to ring on more than one occasion to check that my mothers rings had been stored in the safe and also to check that her ashes had been returned even though I was promised that they would contact me as soon as they were delivered to the office site.
