Staff all very helpful and tactful, and kept me informed of arrangements in good time before the day of the funeral. Very pleased with the recommended celebrant and the beautiful flowers. Just didn't use their stationery because the designs were a bit too elaborate for my taste, but everything else was fine.

The service we received from the Pontefract funeral home was exceptional from start to end.The staff that collected my mum from her home were so very respectful & informed us what would happen next.All the staff made everything so easy for us,especially Duane.He was so professional,informative,caring and most important for us he put us at ease.He is a credit to the funeral home. From the first meeting with Shirley all arrangements were made with her guidance and support which was very much appreciated. She kept in regular contact until the day of the funeral to make sure everything went as discussed. I also spoke to Angela and guided me on what would happen on the day which was comforting also she phoned the following day to ask if I was ok. The family were very impressed service.

All those involved treated me with kindness and respect. Every request I made was responded to with patience and understanding.
This seems to be a very busy funeral business and it would-be easy for staff to get blasé but I saw no evidence of this, quite the opposite.

We recently instructed funeral director Richard Bland to help assist us with dealing with a funeral for one of our late clients. Richard talked us through our options to ensure that the funeral was personalised for our clients friends and he always kept in contact with us and provided us with updates where necessary. Richard was very kind and friendly.

We would recommend using COOP funeral directors.
