Sharon at John Weir has been fantastic . She answered my initial phone call and was so kind and calm . The whole way through John Weir was efficient , professional , sensitive and kind . At the crematorium everything was orgainsed beautifully and Shane was so kind . I would thoroughly recommend John Weir .

Straight from the first time we contacted John Weir, the staff were caring and supportive. Keeping in contact regularly, updating us at every stage and helping us, as a family, give our daughter a service we could be proud of. Would recommend to everyone for the care they took of our loved one.

John Weirs made a very difficult emotional time for my mum and I a simple process. They helped me to arrange everything (I took the lead) and they ensured everything was spot on for my dad. Their care for him was amazing, ensuring he looked exactly like he should, and they were so kind, caring and supportive throughout the whole process. A big thank you to Ben who was our point of contact, Les who collected my father, and Amanda who I spoke to a fair few times and who helped when Ben was unavailable. There was nothing that was too much to ask for and nothing seemed impossible for them. From the beginning where collection took place right to the end, we couldn’t fault them. Thank you for taking such loving care of both my beloved father, and my mum and I.  My brother and sister are also very grateful for everything that John Weirs did.

All my family and friends thought that the services that your company did with regards to Dick's funeral was brilliant.  All the staff were very good and helpful.  Ben was helpful and polite helping me along the way.  It was a sad day but John Weir made it a great day.

This review speaks for itself as this is the fourth time we have asked John Weir to help and assist us in arranging a final farewell for our grandparents, dad and recently my beloved mum. We wouldn't go to anyone else.

From the initial help in taking our loved ones into their care, from helping us with funeral arrangements, we were not rushed and treated with kindness throughout.

Julia at Parkwood has been so kind and helpful with her professional expertise in making sure everything was perfect from order or service, the right celebrant, to the day before, running through everything to make sure mums farewell went smoothly and remembered lovingly.

I visited mum at the Chapel of Rest which again was dealt with kindness, dignity and the ladies made sure I was ok. Mum was so restful and at peace. I cant thank you all enough for that.

The John Weir team on the day Shane and colleagues again met us with kindness, professional and gave mum dignity with walking her down her home road before beginning her journey to Vinters Park. It was pouring with rain and they even sheltered us with umbrellas and gave us ladies a rose from the main wreath which was so thoughtful.

Again I cannot thank all of them enough and I am sure there were plenty that I did not get to meet that made mums send off perfect.

Amanda was very easy to deal with and kept a constant stream of communications. She was very professional and empathetic. I could phone, email or SMS Amanda any time and she would always reply. If new costs were going to be incurred Amanda warned me in advance. This was the first funeral I ever had to organise, so I have no other funeral directors to compare with, but there is nothing I wanted that did not get done. I have no criticism, I was very satisfied.
