My mother passed away very recently after a short illness, my brother and I had used John Weir in Rainham for my fathers funeral some 18 years ago and had no hesitation contacting them again.Sharon our funeral co-ordinator could not have been more welcoming and accommodating, she took on board all of our requests and made sure everything was explained and every detail was covered to ensure Mum had the funeral we hoped for. I cannot recommend this company and thank them highly enough, from start to finish the service and support we received has been exemplary.

In the words of Mike’s brother “ we thought it (the funeral) was very thoughtful and loving and perfectly captured the essence and personality of Michael. It was beautifully done and the service was beautifully presented. We found it quite uplifting. Richard was getting up at 3am to watch the live stream”. I think that says it all, but does not encompass the help and support we received from Les and Peter who were exemplary in their mission to make the occasion “right.” The Oz  part of the family may have been able to stream by now so taking this occasion over three continents - quite a feat! I can not thank Les, at the Gillingham branch enough for the care and attention to detail he gave to my late husband Rob. 

Les, is so kind and considerate. His tea making abilities are also second to none, which Rob would have approved of.

If anyone is going through this difficult time of losing someone they love, I would not hesitate to recommend John Weir funeral directors as they made the process of arranging the funeral as bearable as is possible.

Recently very sadly my wife passed away in quite traumatic circumstances.

Luckily I chose John Weir Funeral Directors to carry out all of the arrangements.

They have been first class in all areas of my wifes funeral, from initial contact where the staff were very respectful, sympathetic and knowledgeable, helping and guiding me through what is to most people unknown territory and then on the day ensuring everything went according to plan, on time and in a very dignified manner.

The office staff have all worked hard to make my life as easy as possible in what has been a very testing period, Anna in particular has been a tower of strength guiding, advising and reassuring making sure no detail was missed.

The hearse and cars all looked brand new and the funeral director, drivers and attending staff were immaculately turned out, on time (like clockwork) polite and extremely helpful.

And then after the funeral much professionalism and empathy has been displayed in tying up all those loose ends that need attention.

Thanks to John and all at John Weir who assisted and helped me on that very difficult and important journey.
