Our experience with John Weir is nothing less than outstanding! From the initial meeting through to the funeral day the team were just so professional. We needed a lot of guidance as it was the first time we had arranged a funeral and Julia was just brilliant. We needed 4 limousines to follow the hearse and wanted them all matching and they did......all gleaming! We also wanted a flower hearse to follow and this also matched. The John Weir team, from the office through to the drivers on the day and John Weir himself could not have been better. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for making the worst day of our lives stress free with regards to all elements covered by you.

At a very difficult time, I received a caring and professional service. My queries were answered promptly and changes to the order of service were dealt with quickly. The staff at the funeral were excellent, especially Shane, and we appreciated the driver being able to bring the hearse right into our drive. When you are full of grief you don’t know what to do next. John Weir were brilliant. Empathetic, professional, kind and personable. They advised me and looked after my husband with grace and dignity and provided a beautiful send off for my recently departed husband. Their prices were very reasonable too. To whom it may concern.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at John Weir for all their support and help in all the arrangements for my husband's funeral. Their welcoming smiles and compassion were genuinely and showed compassion every time. They were polite and professional and made time for me and made me feel I was the only person being dealt with.
Thank you also to the undertakers who collected Steve from home. They were extremely respectful and treated him with the utmost care. Also to the palliative bearers on the day for that same respect.
The viewing day of Steve at the funeral parlour was very difficult but seeing him the way he looked as if he was sleeping and natural with no falseness about him.
My special thanks go to Ben an amazing man for the support, compassion and genuine sympathy throughout the whole process. He made me welcome each time I called in. He is an asset to the company and praise and high respect comes from all the family also .

It’s not an easy subject to dwell on but from behind tearful eyes on loosing someone dear to my heart I can honestly say if it wasn’t for  John Weir funerals and especially Anna who guided my girls and I though the funeral arrangements I don’t know where we would be , I owe a big thank you to all at JWF for going that extra mile to make what is a very emotional time into an uplifting one , thank you once again for being their .

The loss of one's Mum at anytime of the year is extremely upsetting & to loose them 10 days before Christmas was extra difficult for myself, my brother, friends & family.

I wish to thank John Weir for the warm & comforting support given to myself & family at what was a very difficult time in Dec 2025. Everything about the arrangements was explained clearly & the preferences of myself & brother fully respected.

I wish to personally thank Anna for her warm & friendly manner, & natural ability to put one at ease when dealing with the upset of loosing someone close.

This is the second time I have used John Weir in two years & I chose them again as I had such a professional experience when they handled my father's funeral back in May 2024, when once again Anna showed so much kindness, dignity & support.

Based on my experience, I would say you could not be in safer hands & thoroughly recommend their services.
