I highly recommend John Weir Rainham branch they have gone above and beyond when it came to both my Dads cremation in 2019 and recently my Mums burial. They are kind compassionate people and nothing is too much trouble and so going forward our family will always use them because they make one of your saddest times just that little bit easier.

Can’t thank John Weir’s enough for all they did especially on the day, as it was one of the hottest this June, the Conductor had even walked down past my fathers house in the sweltering heat, as requested. The staff were caring & very respectful to us all. Every detail was perfection. A big thank you to Sharon for all her hard work and keeping us updated, especially recommending the fantastic celebrant.

Every pat of the process from first contact, through planning to the funeral was professional and very well organised. All the staff I had contact with were also supportive and explained choices clearly. There was nothing I would have changed or done differently. The celebrant they suggested was also brilliant. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

John Weir were absolutely excellent from the moment I first made contact via email late on a Friday night where the company owner himself responded late, all the way down to Julia the branch manager of Rainham. Having never had to arrange a funeral before I found John weir very warm, welcoming and professional.  I was very nervous about my Dads funeral but John weir put myself and my brother at ease and looked after us from the minute we walked in the door right up to after the ceremony.   Would definitely recommend.

Everyone at John Weir was so kind and compassionate when helping us to organise my husband Gary's funeral. They supported us through every detail of the planning and on the day the funeral was absolutely beautiful. We were guided through every step, which is what you need when you are grieving. They recommended a local florist who provided absolutely stunning flowers, they were able to work the date and time of the service to match up with the venue where the wake was being held, and every time I had any questions - which was a lot - they got straight back to me with all of the information I needed. They handled everything with great sensitivity, most especially the care of my husband when he was taken to them from the hospice where he passed away. Gary was only 46 when he passed away, and his funeral had 200 mourners - John Weir were able to accommodate a service of this size, which was a relief. They were also able to recommend a wonderful celebrant to take the service. When I made the very first phone call to ask them to take on the job of arranging Gary's funeral it was Easter Sunday and there was still somebody there answering the phone, which was a surprise and a relief that I was immensely grateful for. Thank you to everyone at John Weir Rainham branch - especially Sharon, who was such a huge help and support throughout.
