John Weir Funeral Directors are precisely the kind of people my father loved. Sensitive yet professional; meticulous and attentive with detail, yet humane; excellent at what they do and pleasant to engage with. Even when they collected my father's body from the mortuary, they polished the inside of the Ambulance, when nobody would have seen that. That is giving dignity to the departed, and my father always noted such values and sensitivity. Thank you for honouring my father as you have.

From the moment we made the phone to John Weir we were made to feel at ease. We had a home visit from Deana as my nan is terminally ill and couldn’t come in to the shop to arrange her husbands funeral. (Something that another funeral home couldn’t accommodate for us). Deans sat with us for a while and really got to know our family and explained everything to us. We are so happy we chose this company to look after our loved one. The funeral was lovely and the drivers even catered for my nan by allowing us to drive up to the chapel at the cemetery, they then drove my car round to the back for me. So much care and attention to detail went in to the day and we can’t thank all the staff enough.

Fortunately and unfortunately I have used John Weir twice now. 5 years ago I buried my husband and I chose John Weir to say goodbye to my Mum last year. Nothing had changed, still the friendly face and the ease in which you can make the arrangements. They understand you are not thinking clearly. Special thanks to Amanda of the Chatham branch as Amanda could not do enough.

We can’t fault John Weir.  They were efficient, professional and sensitive to our needs at all times.  Anna was excellent and we felt confident at all times that she would ensure all necessary arrangements were in place, which was a weight off our minds.  Our thanks also to Simon, who was on hand at the funeral to ensure everything went smoothly and to Peter Tongue, our celebrant, who was very patient and did a great job for us.

John Weir funeral services were absolutely amazing to deal with. I could not fault them at the slightest. Without the support from Amanda I do not think we could have got through this as well as we did. Ben, Kevin and many others were also very professional. 

I would highly recommend their services to all and this is why other friends and family use them.

Julia at the Parkwood office was so very helpful with the arrangements and was always there if I needed to get in touch with any queries.
