Our family were supported right through the process by John Weir staff. This made it easier for us. Staff were dignified and informative. They gave us guidance and understood what we wanted. On the day of the funeral John Weir delivered the funeral exactly as planned. This made the whole occasion moving and people who attended commented on how good the funeral was.

The funeral director Les was excellent and very good at guiding me through what needed to be done. Sometimes he had to remind me as I had so much on my mind. 
Always patient and very helpful and caring. 
On the day of the funeral the staff were very good. They sent pall bearers as we didn’t have family able to do it. 
I would recommend this company especially Les from the Gillingham branch.

Anna in the Rainham office was extremely considerate at this difficult time. She took great care to explain everything to us. Options were explained to us to enable us to make our decisions for our mums funeral. At no time did we feel pressured to take a particular option. The day before the funeral everything was checked through one last time to ensure everything was correct.



On the day, everything was as we requested. The gentlemen were well presented and took good care of us.

Les Atterbury 'held our hand' throughout the entire process of planning mum's funeral - from discussing and guiding our initial thoughts, through to arranging the last-minute things that inevitably get forgotten about or changed.
The team who attended at the church service and crematorium were also wonderful, helping us to say farewell to mum in a dignified way

John Weir took us (Beckys family and her fiancé) through the whole process seamlessly and were so sympathetic about the loss of Becky, who was a much loved daughter, sister, fiancée, along with friend to many. We sadly lost Becky due to cancer and when dealing with the most tragic of circumstances, having such a professional funeral director makes all the difference.

They were compassionate, understanding and I would recommend them, above all other funeral directors. We had Deana in the Rainham branch helping us throughout and she was excellent.

The day of the funeral was so well organised, and their aftercare was also extremely caring.

If anyone ever asks us who they should choose for a funeral director in Medway, we would recommend John Weir every single time.
