Having used Johnathan Terry for my Father's funeral, which was handled with care and dignity, they were the obvious choice for my Mother's.

Again the service provided was one of care and compassion. I would thoroughly recommend them. Probably one of the best Funeral Directors in Southampton.

I couldn't possibly praise Jonathan Terry"s enough, as a family we've required their services too many times over the last decade, but 4 occasions in the last 4 years. Unfortunately the most recent was my Mother, Mum insisted we would contact Jonathan Terry's when the day came. I have to say the levels of respect & customer service were already 10 out of 10 previously, with the current lockdown restrictions Jonathan Terry's raised the bar yet again this company is sheer class! The hearse began from our Mum's home and due to shielding our Dad (separated) couldn't attend, but the procession was able to drive past our Dads house so he could pay his respects, Mathew stopped the Hearse, allowed our Dad a moment and then began leading the procession walking in from off the hearse again. We arrived at the Crematorium, we parked as the hearse stopped and were asked if we would wish to walk behind the hearse for Mum's final journey (as the limousines were unavailable due to social distancing) Once again Mathew was class, he made a horrendous time to endure such a day with restrictions the best send off with just a few tweaks which made our mum's day unique and it was very dignified. Thank you Mathew.

I can't not mention Margaret who has always been so respectful to any of us and our family over the years.

Jonathan Terry's thank you for making our Mum's special day also such a special day for us as well.

I would like to say a huge thank-you to Jonathan Terry and his staff for their help, professionalism and dignity that they all showed before and during my Mothers funeral.  They made a very difficult event easier to cope with; especially when we could not attend due to various situations at the time.   
It was a strange feeling watching her funeral via the webcast and not being able to actually be there to say goodbye.  Again thank-you to Jonathan Terry.

We found ourselves in a very difficult situation trying to organise my father’s funeral in the middle of the Coronavirus outbreak but Margaret and her team at Jonathan Terry made everything so simple by taking over the entire organisation for us including the sorting out of Flowers, Minister, and Organist which could have proved very difficult at this time, as well as booking the crematorium at a suitable time to accommodate family travel arrangements. Everything has been handled with care and sensitivity and we would have no hesitation in recommending Jonathan Terry to anyone. My father’s Care Home were also very impressed with the services provided the company.

Jonathan Terry have done a brilliant job, during what must be a very strange and difficult time for the funeral industry. They have shown the utmost professionalism, dealing with my father and our grieving family, with genuine respect, empathy and kindness. Sadly we were unable to give dad the send-off he deserved, but they did everything possible to ensure it was still very special and personal. I will be using them for dad’s memorial service when these strange and dangerous times, have passed. In the meantime, I wish them strength and safety for the months that lie ahead. I’m so happy with the fantastic service we have received from Jonathan Terry.
Matthew was amazing from the start and a ‘perfect fit’ to organise my husbands funeral as both were aviators with a passion for flying. He has a sensitive and caring manner and a positive can do attitude which made the whole planning process so much easier to cope with at such a difficult time. He really understood my vision for the funeral and helped make it a reality.
Tracey has also been fantastic, her warmth, support and technical prowess helped me enormously too. They really are perfectionists in what they do and I have been so impressed with them all. Thank you Matthew and Tracey. We are forever grateful for taking care of us during this most heartbreaking time.

We thought long and hard before we finally chose the services of Jonathan Terrey and without reservation of any kind I can honestly say that Jonathan and all of his staff were just perfect in every way. From our initial meeting with Jonathan, right up until Mum's funeral day, Jonathan and his staff made sure that everything was taken care of right down to the smallest detail. Everyone was sympathetic, empathetic and sincere in all of our meetings and correspondence. Everyone wen't beyond the call of duty to make sure that Mum's funeral was everything that she had talked about in her wishes. I'd like to mention Tracey, Ann and Chris who are a credit to the business and are also wonderful people. I would like to express my extreme gratitude for the way in which everything was done in preparing for Mum's last day which is one that everyone will remember for all the right reasons. Thank you so very much Jonathan, and a massive thank you to all of your staff for taking care of matters so well. We cannot find any fault with the very professional and friendly service provided by Edward and the Peartree team. From start to finish they were sympathetic, honest and truly caring at a very sad time. They guided us through the whole funeral process with such respect and integrity, they were able to adapt to unforeseen event with such efficiency. Edward arranged for a motorcycle hearse giving my dad a fantastic send off. Nothing was too much trouble, we have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you Wendy
