Jonathan Terry were so kind, compassionate and caring throughout. We were in very safe hands and they guided us through the whole process whilst giving us all the time we needed to grieve and come to terms with our loss. The funeral service was managed by them in a dignified manner and, the celebrant, Diane, was truly wonderful. I cannot recommend them highly enough. A very tough time made easier by their professionalism.

They are compassionate, kind and very caring giving total support before and afterwards, with bereavement support and also memorial services, to remember those sadly lost.. I was introduced directly to Jon(athan) by a mutual friend as "I didn't know where to start". Although I worked mainly with the College Place team on the details, Sarah in particular, Jon actually took the lead on the day, which felt an honour and I greatly appreciated his involvement and support on such a significant occasion. Sarah was wonderful throughout the preparations, perfectly balancing care and consideration for me at a very difficult time with evident professional competence and expertise, and nudging me along when a decision was necessary. I used an independent Humanist Celebrant, Kate, who had worked with Sarah and the rest of Jonathan Terry's team previously. I had very much wanted to be thoroughly involved in developing the details of the secular Celebration of Jill, my wife, and her life: the Celebrant's text, the contributions from additional speakers, the music, the photographic display, etc., etc., and this is exactly how we worked. It was a genuine team effort. I strongly recommend turning to Jonathan Terry Independent Funeral Directors if you have similar needs and views to mine. You can rely on all the people I've mentioned - not forgetting Tom at College Place too, although we only exchanged brief conversatins along the way - to help you fulfill your hopes for an appropriate and memorable tribute to your loved one.

I made the call no one wants to make to an undertaker and Jonathan Terry simply made my worries disappeared. He looked after everything for me with his caring, calm and dignified manner. He assured me he would take special care of my husband which was such a comfort to me. 
Jonathan Terry brought a non fussy elegance which was a fitting conclusion for my beautiful boy- I will be forever grateful ❤️
