On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to say the service we received from Jonathan Terry Funeral Directors has been excellent. From the day my husband's body, Derek Sherbourne, was collected from our house, to the day of the funeral, he was treated with dignity. Everything was planned most professionally, and it was a great comfort to us to know our wishes would be carried out as we wanted them to be. We all thank you so much.

Jonathan and the team did an amazing job, they followed all our wishes, the horse and carriage was amazing, the communication was excellent, we were able to [provide my mother with the funeral she wanted down to the last detail. It was dignified and caring. We saw her in the Chapel of Rest and she even had the cigarettes placed in her hand as she wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and we were also able to see and purchase additional urns and jewellery. Every detail was sent to me for approval and they did everything for us including the echo announcement and order of service.

Thank you so much to Matt everyone at Terry's for making my mother's funeral go so beautifully. Everything was perfect - down to the rose on the side of the coffin, an unexpected and lovely touch since Rose was her middle name. A minimum of fuss and a maximum of quiet grace made everything flow exactly as anyone could have wished. And all without a hint of gloomy solemnity. Thank you also to Matt for keeping me quietly in the loop all the way through the two days - making the operation so smooth I don't suppose anyone else noticed. I really could not recommend more highly.

At a sad and difficult time it has been a huge help to have Jonathan and his Team helping to lead me through the details of arranging the funeral, and being a gentle support throughout, and especially on the day. Very good funeral directors, we were treated with dignity and respect from the moment we walked in to arrange my late father’s funeral. Professional and courteous at all times we were guided through everything that was required and nothing was too much trouble including accommodating our specific requests. The funeral service was handled with sensitivity, respectfulness and dignity throughout. As the funeral was a faith funeral, it was also good to see that they were aware of the Sikh funeral customs and they observed these respectfully. Thank you to Natalie and team for providing a memorable funeral service for our late father.

From the moment I first contacted Jonathan Terry I was treated with compassion, dignity and experienced a professional service that could not be bettered.

I had not arranged a funeral before and I was led, expertly and compassionately through the various options to arrive at the funeral that was most fitting for my sister and with respect to all aspects of timescale, budget and suitability.

The recommendations made for the celebrant, flowers and venue were perfect - the ceremony itself and the arrival of the casket were conducted with a dignity that would have graced the highest office - I can absolutely, without reservation recommend Jonathan Terry - a difficult and stressful time was handled in a way it is hard to imagine could be improved upon - Thank you

I was thinking that arranging a funeral would be a very daunting process, but I need not have worried. Right from the start, Vicky treated me as an individual, listening carefully to my requests and helping me realize my vision for a simple, personal service.
As we were bringing grandchildren to the Crematorium, who had not experienced a funeral before, it was very important that they did not take away with a bad memory of the Service and we also kept the numbers attending, to a lower level, which helped make the overall atmosphere more personal.

On the day of the funeral, Vicky was very calm and re-assuring throughout, which helped to dispel any anxieties that I may have had.

Trisha was very helpful with the design of the Service Leaflet and she was patient while I made several changes to photos, layout etc - nothing was too much trouble for her. The result, was a very personal, unique memento of a sad but meaningful occasion.

I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Jonathan Terry to anyone needing the services of a Funeral Director.
