Our Mum passed suddenly and from the moment we first walked through the doors we was put at ease and had everything explained to us and was no pressure for anything just guidance on giving our mum the best send off and the respect they showed our mum whilst there was amazing. Being a family business also makes a difference. 3 generations working along side each other is very special.

From first contact to receipt of the deceased's ashes the funeral directors have been amazing. It was all delivered in less than three weeks of my brother's death which has helped to reduce stress and grieving. Their understanding, help and professionalism has been outstanding. My Mum passed away in January 2026. She had bought a funeral plan with Thornalley in 2014.
The staff there are fantastic. From the moment the call was made to say my Mum had died they were there to help navigate me through what needed to happen every step of the way. They cared for my Mum with compassion and respect on her journey. I felt able to call them at any time if I had questions and they called me independently to see that I was okay and asked if there was anything they could help me with. Mum's funeral went to plan on the day and I really appreciated their attention to detail. I highly recommend their service if you are thinking about funeral plans for the future.
