I used John Weir after asking local friends and family for recommendations. John Weir, and specifically my contact, Sharon have been excellent. Telephoning me when I needed to do something or make a decision. Always explaining what would happen. And recommending excellent florists (Ascot)  and minister (Melvyn). I would recommend their services to anyone else but do hope I don’t need them again for a long while. 😄

I can not fault John Weir especially Julie from  Parkwood. Julie does her job with full sympathy , compassion and  she does this with a good professional  service . Sadly this is the third time I have had to arrange a funeral and I would not go anywhere else. A very good all round professional company.

Such an excellent service. They made a difficult day ,bearable. A special mention for Shane, who went out of his way to be supportive to a, naturally distraught, family. It meant a lot to us. Teresa and Amanda, in the office, were also a great help and were extremely compassionate. The Family could not recommend them highly enough.Our thanks to them.

We used John Weirs Gillingham funeral parlour because it is local to where we live and the nursing home where my mother passed away. I don't think we could have found anywhere more helpful and understanding. We approached them before the coroner had released Mums body and Theresa gave us all the help and advise we needed. Once they had mum in their care, everything was dealt with efficiently and professionally, with all the information leaflets and documents presented in a faux leather wallet. On the day of the funeral the four gentlemen with the immaculate hearse and two limousines were very dignified and professional and met all our expectations.

I can only say good things about my experience with John Weir Funeral Directors, from the moment my brother and I walked into their Watling Street, Gillingham, offices to book our Father's funeral and our meeting with the lovely Theresa to the day of the service itself at the Garden of England cemetery and the way we were treated by John Weir and his team with dignity and professionalism.
