Anna, who arranged my husbands funeral, and the guys on the day, were absolutely brilliant. 
I have used the Gillingham branch of John Weir before; back in 2011 for my mums funeral and they were excellent then.
There was no question that we’d use them again for my husband; this time the Rainham branch.
They were empathetic, amenable and generally just lovely. Their professionalism is second to none.

Dear all at John Weir,
We have contacted Teresa herself and sent a Thankyou card also at the Gillingham branch. 
We would like to Thankyou for the most professional service, from the very beginning when I contacted John Weir to find out about funeral packages throughout the build up to my Nans funeral Barbara Tyler, the way Teresa paid attention to detail even spraying my Nans perfume before we visited. She done an amazing job dressing her. So we as a family would like to address how heart warming Teresa was throughout the whole process even when we collected my Nan Barbara Tyler’s Ashes. She is a lovely lady and definitely deserves recognition.
On the funeral day itself we couldn’t of asked for a more beautiful way for my Nan to take her last journey. The horses and carriage were so beautiful. They truly looked amazing. 
Ben introduced my mum to the horses as he could see she was very emotional this helped to calm mum and we would like to thank him for his approach throughout.
The whole crew in the day were brilliant and we couldn’t fault anyone. 
The timing was spot on and we believe to have done my Nan proud via John Weir services.
The horse box that was a gift was a nice touch.
Thankyou so much to all that was involved in Barbara Tyler’s Funeral it was a day you done us proud.

Ben, Amanda and the rest of the team made so much difference at this especially difficult time. Their kind, gentle and understanding approach and the fact that nothing was too much trouble for them helped me and my family cope with what would otherwise have been a totally overwhelming process . With their support and understanding we were able to meet all our needs and create the perfect final goodbye to my Mum - one that she herself would have been pleased with. We felt cared for, supported and understood and felt at peace with their respect for all of us - and particularly their respect for the care and dignity of my Mum. I can't thank them enough.

I cannot recommend John Weir enough. From the moment I visited the Parkwood Rainham branch in early January enquiring about different funerals, costs etc to making the booking at the crematorium, Julia in the office was there to arrange it all, as well as helping and advising me all the way.  Her kindness and compassion at this difficult time went above and beyond and I am really grateful for all her help. 
On the day of my Mum’s funeral,  I was met at Eltham crematorium by Kevin who had travelled the long journey from Rainham with Mum, and he explained the next step.  The Celebrant - Bridget - who took Mum’s service was wonderful and I would like to thank her so much for the beautiful service she delivered.  Thank you John Weir for making a very difficult and sad time bearable.  Jackie Pearson

I cannot praise John Weir and his team (especially Deana) for taking care of everything, after the sad loss of my husband (digger) from start to finish they organised everything, nothing seemed any trouble and kept me informed all the way along. John, himself even phoned the day after, even though he was on his holidays, to ask how it all went and said all the right words. They made a very sad occasion, very bearable with as little stress as possible. Thank you so much x
