We were looked after by Christine at the Welling branch of F.A. Albin and I can honestly say that the level of compassion, support and care provided by Christine and her colleagues was second to none. They made such a difference to us and were simply superb in looking after everything and provided great comfort during a difficult time. The level of professionalism was exceptional, with regular updates provided in a very sympathetic manner before mum's funeral, and tender/empathetic support provided on the day of mum's funeral.

Death is not something we like to think about, but I would not use any other Funeral Directors now that I have experienced the care and service provided by F.A. Albin.

Thank you Christine and all at F.A. Albin for the love and care you showed to my mum and our family. May God Bless you all.

My expectations of the service from Albins is high in the first place, they have been our family's choice for a long time, I've grown up seeing Albins in Bermondsey. My Mum passed away suddenly in 1999 , I was only 29 & it was mostly down to me to arange everything, Albins took care of everything, I cannot remember much of that time but I knew I was taken Care of.
In July of this year my Dad passed away after a long battle with dementia & then a short illness in hospital, his passing was a blessing as his & our suffering was too much to bear.
Sidcup is my local Albins now & I contacted them & spoke to Micheal Thorpe the manager, he gave us guidance & help from then on. The staff have the highest respect for the family & most importantly the deceased as after all it's their day.  I can only say that they gave my Dad the best & cannot fault the service from Albins, everyone was superb, in particular Mr Micheal Thorpe,
I would say he is an asset to your company, but you only have the best so that's why he's with you, so he is an asset to your industy.
Touches that stand FA Albins apart from others, as my Dad drove past the sidcup branch the staff came out & payed their respects to him, a simple gesture that swells my heart & my eyes with tears. That's the Albins way. Nothing is too much. I could have asked Micheal for a unicorn drawn carriage with John Wayne riding shotgun, it would never happen, but he would bloody well tried  to do it.! & then got something just like it:)

Sacha Ansell read my Dads eulogy & with her help & advise we put together a perfect service, her delivery was warm & humorous delivered with a simplicity which comes from the heart.
I again thank every one at Albins.
This level of service is only achieved by a team at the pinnacle of their business. With years of experience & the very best of people guiding them, my upmost respects to the Albins family & in particular Barry, RIP a dear friend to many, a true gentleman. X

The service provided by everyone at Albin's has been exceptional throughout and we cannot thank each and every one of them enough, but our special thanks go to Simon and Jon. Simon's calm and professional approach made the funeral arrangement process very straightforward and Jon's contribution in leading the funeral on the actual day was amazing and will never be forgotten. The presentation of the cars and bearers was first-class, and the respect shown to all attendees was outstanding. The family cannot praise you all enough - thankyou so very much!

The service given from Simon and his team was impeccable from start to finish, Simon was very understanding and patient whilst we awaited the medical certificate over 2 and a half weeks. He checked in with the family almost daily for those 2 weeks before we had even met. Once we did meet at his office, it felt as though I had known him for years, not only had he retreived the body before we had arrived, (which was only a couple hours) he had also prepared for our visit, even though no official appointment was made. We as a family felt so comfortable and even through the tough subdue moments, he made a few jokes and eased us back on track.
Planning a funeral is everyone's worst nightmare, but we left there feeling quite upbeat and happy with what Simon had offered us for John's cremation.
Once all was booked, I still had regular contact from Simon and he made me aware of what was happening at every stage. Doreen and Charles always complimented Simon to me on how efficient, compassionate and understanding he was to our needs. It made her feel assured that everything would go to plan on the day.
By now I felt at total ease with Simon and the lovely receptionists, that I asked if I could help dress John, with no hesitation they said it would be ok. I was filled with joy, never had I done this before but David made us feel so relaxed and unafraid.
The day of the funeral, Albin's service was absolutely perfect. Not only were they punctual, professional and dedicated, they showed warmth and kindness and were very empathetic to all our needs. At times we all felt so overwhelmed with it all, but Simon consistently kept us calm and reassured us at every step of the way.
Our gratitude cannot be expressed much more than this, Doreen and her extended family would like to say a huge thank you to Simon and Albins Bermondsey & Walworth for the tremendous service provided. You did John Browne proud and we are eternally grateful. Xx

The best funeral directors their is full stop
Couldn't have asked for more, they looked after my dad with the respect he deserved.
There are no words to describe how pleased I am with how everything went. The only word that come to mind is unbeatable. My family has been looked after by them for years and will continue to be looked after by them.
