Stibbards were there for us every step of the way with our Dads passing. Initially we set up a funeral plan a couple of years ago which when the time came then enabled us to concentrate on other details of the funeral. They arrived quickly and professionally to take dad into their care respecting our wishes right from the start. Having lots of children, grand children and great grand children there were a lot of notes to be read to him and for him to take with him and Stibbards took care of everything. What was absolutely lovely was Dad still looked like Dad and for that we are so grateful, he wasn't gone, he was sleeping. On the day itself they accommodated our wishes to pass by the care home and stop so we could thank everyone for his care, and then with respect for dad and care for us all we arrived at the crematorium to his final resting place. Nothing was too much and for this we are eternally grateful. With no hesitation I would use their services again. Thank you all for helping us to celebrate our Dad.

On behalf of the whole family, I can honestly say that Stibbards were amazing from start to finish. Diane was brilliant in her care of us prior to the day, and Scott and his team were fantastic on the day. They made sure that we had nothing to think about and could concentrate on giving Dad the send off he deserved. Thank you so much.

Their demeanour was superb and gave us comfort and guidance at our daughters funeral

The office staff who we met Wendy and Karen were very
Professional but when needed were comforting and reassuring

Overall we thought Stibbards provided a great service

We found that from the very first contact to when the funeral director left us on Wednesday the service was first class, every body involved couldn't have been more professional and respectful. As a family we were all very impressed with the service you provided. A special mention to Janice and Stewart.

My father was treated with kindness & respect. When they came
To get his body the man introduced himself to my Dad & said he would be taking him to rest with them. 
When he was resting with them we went to see him & once again the kindness and respect was outstanding. Also the same on the day of his funeral. 
 
Stibbards made a very difficult time a little easier. So
Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

Funerals are not easy happenings either in the  planning or the event and so compassion and guidance are very much needed.
Stibbards  provided both these qualities and helped us through what was such  a difficult time .

It is a very difficult time for everyone but Stibbards were very helpful patient and professional in all that they did. I have had many compliments about the extra things they put in place ie bubbles and West Ham colours and these were an unexpected but very welcome touch. Thank you

The Stibbards Team in Canvey Island have been outstanding in assisting us in making our arrangements , recently.  In particular,  David Brittney, has been exceptional in handling and taking care of our every need - passing various departmental information from and to us,  ensuring every minute detail was taken care of in a sensitive and professional manner.  So, thank you, especially David, you are for us, the face of Stibbards - and you really have taken good care of us, in what has been a traumatic time for all of the family.  Your quiet help, kindness and professionalism have made this experience as pain free as possible for us.

All the staff were outstanding and provided support from the very beginning. They were professional and caring and arranged everything even down to the staff wearing blue ties to match our tribute of wearing something blue. Davis Wilson who spoke at my fathers service was kind and wrote a service fitting for my father. He understood what we wanted to say and provided a service that celebrated my fathers life. We recently entrusted the funeral arrangements for my husband to the team at Stibbards and I cannot thank them enough for the exceptional care and support they provided throughout.

In particular, Diane at the Hockley office was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter how many questions or requests we had at what was naturally a very difficult time. She dealt with everything with kindness, patience and professionalism, and made the whole process so much easier for us.

I would also like to mention Scott, who was overseeing things on the day itself. My husband had been a former Scout and lifelong Scout Leader, and Scott took our idea of involving the Scout leaders and adapted it in such a thoughtful and fitting way. It added a very personal and meaningful touch to the service and helped give him the send-off he deserved.

Sadly, I have had the misfortune of needing to use their services several times in recent times, and on every occasion the care, dignity and attention shown by the staff have been outstanding.
