From initial contact after my husband passed away, to the conclusion of the funeral, I was impressed by the sensitivity empathy and professionalism of all the staff. My husband had wanted a small, intimate, woodland graveside funeral and his and our wishes were carried out exactly as we wanted. We were never made to feel that our wishes were too unconventional or inconvenient. I would wholeheartedly recommend Stibbards & Sons to other bereaved families.

From the first phone call we made, in the middle of the night, we were treated with compassion and sensitivity. The staff were always on hand to guide us through a very difficult time. I can’t speak highly enough of the care we received.

Was all and more could have imagined for my wife funeral, Janice made helped and made the arrangement process which is all very personally difficult so easy and was on the phone whenever I had a question. The day went almost like apart from the hearse being blocked in so did get a bit nervous, however Scott was amazing and reassuring me from his phone call the day before from keeping updated on his journey to us then for rest of the day amazing professionalism from everyone and Scott and Darren amazing with my boys on a very difficult day. Laura was also amazing it’s very hard putting a lot thoughts and words to someone then not knowing what will sound like on the day and even I got yo read the eulogy before the day still very hard to imagine how will sound on the day but all went very well. All friends and family who attended said was one of the most beautiful send off they have attended. Thank You.

My wife wanted to make her own funeral arrangements and Maria Stibbard came to our house. She was caring and thoughtful and guided us with dignity.
After my wife passed her body was collected.
Wendy contacted me often to offer help and to keep me updated on the order of service, musical tribute etc.
The funeral went off without a hitch and I was treated with respect at all times. All of the staff were considerate at all times leaving no matters unresolved or in doubt.Scott Bartlett replied

On behalf of our family, thank you so much for your help and guidance in planning Dad's funeral. From our initial phone call with Alison, then meeting, and all the contact leading up to the day, we felt in very safe hands, this was our first experience of arranging a funeral and although very hard you made the process much easier for us.
We couldn't have asked for more and the day was a perfect send off for Dad, everything ran smoothly and according to plan.

Outstanding and sensitive support; both customer service and communication throughout was exemplary. The staff at Stibbards fully understand the extremely delicate nature of arranging and managing funerals and associated services. At no time did I have to chase or ask for clarification. My auntie's last days on this earth were treated with total respect and dignity and the family will be eternally grateful for this.

Fantastic support and help with organising and carrying out dad’s funeral.
Everyone commented on what a lovely service David Coster carried out and how lovely the order of service looked that their media team produced. A number of family members watched the service via the link and were pleased to be able to have that option so that all went well too.
Dave and the team on the funeral day were so helpful and professional and helped us tremendously.
Debbie at Leigh is such a kind, lovely, professional and organised person who helped us navigate everything at this difficult time.

Janice the FAA at Westcliff office was efficient very kind and caring. A great comfort in my loss.
David and his team on the day were very kind and caring as well. The horse drawn hearse was splendid, well turned out and the horses well behaved. My Jeni would have loved the horses best.
