We were very happy with all aspects of the services we received. The assistance in the planning of the funeral and the way in which things were carried out, on the day itself, could not have been better.
Stibbards have our sincere thanks and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Many thanks to all at Stibbards & Sons for the wonderful funeral for my husband David on the 31st of January 2025. Special thanks to Diane and Scott who made a special contribution in such a sensitive and upsetting time for all the family.
Diane you were so kind and caring throughout the process that initially had been so traumatic for all the family. Your intervention had made a difference to us all coping throughout such a very sad and difficult time thank you so very much.
As David’s wife I cannot thank Scott enough for his wonderful care on the day as he looked after me so very very well. All my family were impressed with Scott’s caring and professionalism from the start until the end of the whole process on the actual day of David’s funeral. Moreover, we were all comforted by his lovely kind and caring way he dealt with our family both individually and as a group. We could not have asked for a better person than Scott to be with us looking after us on what had been the saddest day of our lives. We all now can look back on the sad day feeling comforted by the professionals involved throughout the whole process of saying goodbye to a lovely caring husband Father and Grandfather. Thank you all.

I cannot fault the service I received from the staff at the Shoeburyness branch in any way. From my first meeting with them until the day of my husband’s funeral they showed me nothing but kindness and consideration. They were efficient and discreet in everything they did. I would not hesitate to recommend them

The whole Stibbards team from my first, very emotional, contact through all the planning and preparation phase, visiting Dad in the chapel to say goodbye to the day of the funeral itself was handled with complete respect, consideration, calmness and professionalism. To say my dad's funeral was a wonderful day seems strange to say but all thanks to Stibbards means that's exactly what it was. I genuinely don't think it could have gone any better and they are the most amazing people to deal with. Thank you Debbie for all you did and Scott for all you did on the day. Stibbards were extremely caring, compassionate and professional, helping us as a family to navigate a very difficult time. Always very responsive and flexible, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much to Leo and the team for their support and guidance. From the initial phone call right up to the funeral service itself, they were there every step of the way and helped to give my Dad a send off he would’ve been proud of.

The process didn’t feel real but Wendy guided us and helped us through a difficult time when making decisions didn’t come easy. We met scott the day before mums funeral and he was very calming and made us feel at ease introducing himself to the family. Thankyou so much for everything and looking after mum

Simon and the other guys looked after myself and my family at our saddest time. Also Alison from the Shoebury branch was such a help to myself and was there always for me. Would recommend Stibbards to any one who unfortunately has to arrange a funeral.

We received a very professional service from everyone.
Wendy our arranger was very friendly and helpful arranging the cremation, she always returned calls and sorted any queries or problems and answered our many questions.
We were lucky to have a friendly face with Scott our Mr Top Hat who was respectful of our wishes and gave a great service. He knew my husband and so did Darren who was a friendly and caring driver.
Thank you all at Stibbards Rayleigh for making a very sad occasion the best it could possibly be.

Janice couldn’t of done more to support us and arrange our dads funeral, Simon on the day was so welcoming and made the day run how we wanted it too, our funeral celebrant David held a beautiful service for dads farewell, thank you to each of you involved.
