Stibbards looked after mum from the beginning right up to her celebration of life service. We were shown the utmost respect and professionalism throughout and we really felt in safe hands. All of the arrangements were made efficiently and without any fuss, we were encouraged to ask as many questions as we wanted and we were never made to feel a nuisance, we just felt supported from beginning to end. Every service Stibbards offered, was of a very high standard, we could have not asked for any more. Thank you for making a very tough time in our lives a thing of absolute beauty and respect.

From the moment Stibbards took Mum into their care every thing was handled with dignity and professionalism.
Wendy was very helpful explaining the procedures, returning phone calls and answering our questions to ensure all the funeral plans were all in place and everything was taken care off.
I cannot thank Scott and the team for their support on the day and especially when we had a problem with our florist.

Stibbards / Diane at the Hockley office were central  to the success of my father Kenneth George Roberts funeral 11 July 2023 - service at St Peter and St Paul’s Hockley, burial at Hall Road cemetery Rochford. I include here the note I wrote to Diane / Stibbards the day after the funeral : 

Dear Diane,

Just to thank you for everything you and your team at Stibbards did in making dad’s funeral very special. All your work with mum and myself and indeed my sister and her son ahead of the day was superb.

I have to say the team of men led by the wonderful Scott on the day made what was a challenging day so much smoother and for me perfect. Everything was done very well and clearly Scott is the absolute perfectionist in his professionalism but was also very attentive to mum and the family.

So thank you to all at Stibbards helping in making dad’s funeral actually a very special day of mourning and celebration.

Cannot fault the service we received. From planning to execution everything was professionally and empathetically carried out. There was always someone at the end of the phone if needed and all questions were resolved swiftly.
The drivers and attendants of the day really helped the service feel special and gave dad a dignified and peaceful send off.
Obviously don't want to wish the need for their services on anyone - but a time comes for all of us and I feel anyone who has lost a loved one would feel safe and comforted in their hands.

I was really impressed with the professionalism and empathy showed to me, throughout the whole time. I never felt rushed or pressurized into making any decisions. Martin who I delt with was amazing, he was happy to sit and listen to stories about my Mum, and held my hand through everything. It could not of been better . I hope it’s a long time before I have to organize another funeral, but if and when I do, it will certainly be Stibbards I would use . Thank you for making Mums funeral special ❤️
