Marvellous service from the team at Stibbards, Leigh on Sea from Debbie, our main contact throughout to all of the chaps on the day. Also a huge thank you to the team that made mum ready for viewing, she looked so young and peaceful without looking ‘made up’ - the best job I’ve seen. I hope not to be needing any funeral directors again for a long while but will certainly come back here if I do.

Debbie at Stibbards was incredibly kind and patient with me throughout the entire process, offering support and understanding at every step. Lauren in the media team created a beautiful order of service, and Simon, who oversaw everything on the day, ensured it all ran smoothly and with great care. I am truly grateful to the whole team for making such a difficult time feel supported and dignified.

Stibbards are a very well known, professional, reliable and well respected company and treat your loved ones with kindness, care and respect. They keep you fully informed during the whole process and can assist with so many aspects of arranging a funeral. They recently looked after my mum and helped my family with her cremation. If you’re still unsure, please don’t be, you are in safe and trusted hands.

I would like to say a huge thank you for making a very sad time a little easier to deal with, nothing was to much trouble, everything was taken care of with the upmost respect to all involved. My mum had the best send off and l am honestly so grateful for all the help and support that was offered. Wendy was especially helpful, l had many questions and she was always willing to help.
Thank you all so very much.
I would not hesitate to use your services again but hopefully not any time soon.

The team were excellent especially Diane who spent so much time with us helping us arrange my mums funeral. She kept in touch every step of the way and explained everything to us. Additionally Scott was so supportive on the day.

Leo and Janice were excellent they explained everything clearly, we're accommodating and sensitive to our needs. They provided excellent customer service and made everything easier for us during our very difficult time. When visiting my father at the chapel they were very flexible with the times we could visit and we're professional, caring and friendly. The entire team at stibbards were amazing. David Wilson who wrote and delivered my father's service was excellent. He delivered it with such grace and gave us lots of support during the writing of my dad's life. He was very accommodating also with how we wanted the service to be.
Overall I would highly recommend stibbards and the team and all of the amazing services they provide. -

I can’t thank Stibbards Funeral Directors enough for the care and compassion they showed during one of the hardest times of our lives. From start to finish, their support was truly exceptional.
Diane was absolutely wonderful — so caring, kind, and helpful. She guided us through everything with genuine empathy and patience, making a very difficult process feel just that little bit easier.
On the day of the funeral, Simon led us with calm professionalism and warmth. He made sure we all knew what was happening, and that we were okay every step of the way. Nothing ever felt rushed — we had time to reflect, especially when looking at the flowers, and that meant a lot.
Jon Stannard, who conducted the service, was just brilliant. He took the time to come to my mum’s house beforehand, listened to our stories, and really got to know who she was. On the day, he brought a sense of peace and even joy — he made us smile and laugh through our tears, turning the saddest of days into something truly meaningful and personal.
Thank you to everyone at Stibbards. I don’t have a bad word to say — your kindness will never be forgotten.
