Alison was incredibly helpful and compassionate throughout the entire process. She explained everything clearly, making it much easier to organize everything during a difficult time. The visit to the chapel of rest was calm and peaceful, providing a comforting space to say our goodbyes. Highly professional and caring service—would highly recommend.”

We were very impressed with the not just professional service Stibbards gave but also the personal and supportive care we were offered throughout the whole proceedings. Diane in the office, plus Scott and his team conducted themselves efficiently and with dedication.
We thank them all so much for helping us deal with my Mother’s passing and as we laid her to rest.

Wendy who dealt with the funeral was absolutely fabulous I knew my husband was well looked after and safe. Nothing was too much trouble for Wendy, she kept us well informed and up to date about everything

I just wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for everything. My family also said how wonderful you all are and that it was one of the best celebrations of life they have been to.
You have helped me to ensure that both parents had a perfect send off. I will forever be greatful
You are all such amazing earth angels and have now helped me to lay both my darling parents to rest.
Your professionalism, compassion and kindness is off the scale and as always I will continue to encourage anyone if they want a top class service to come to you.
Nothing was too much, every detail was to perfection.
Debbie you are truly amazing and held my hand every step of the way,as I told you 6 years ago when dad was laid to rest there are not many people like you.. you have all been chosen to do this, so be proud!

Many thanks to all at Stibbards & Sons for the wonderful funeral for my husband David on the 31st of January 2025. Special thanks to Diane and Scott who made a special contribution in such a sensitive and upsetting time for all the family.
Diane you were so kind and caring throughout the process that initially had been so traumatic for all the family. Your intervention had made a difference to us all coping throughout such a very sad and difficult time thank you so very much.
As David’s wife I cannot thank Scott enough for his wonderful care on the day as he looked after me so very very well. All my family were impressed with Scott’s caring and professionalism from the start until the end of the whole process on the actual day of David’s funeral. Moreover, we were all comforted by his lovely kind and caring way he dealt with our family both individually and as a group. We could not have asked for a better person than Scott to be with us looking after us on what had been the saddest day of our lives. We all now can look back on the sad day feeling comforted by the professionals involved throughout the whole process of saying goodbye to a lovely caring husband Father and Grandfather. Thank you all.

I cannot fault the service I received from the staff at the Shoeburyness branch in any way. From my first meeting with them until the day of my husband’s funeral they showed me nothing but kindness and consideration. They were efficient and discreet in everything they did. The whole Stibbards team from my first, very emotional, contact through all the planning and preparation phase, visiting Dad in the chapel to say goodbye to the day of the funeral itself was handled with complete respect, consideration, calmness and professionalism.
