The whole team at Stibbards were faultless from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for making the difficult situation of losing our Dad so much easier in terms of arrangements. They took care of everything, were so respectful and were sympathetic to our needs, also accommodating any request that we asked for (sometimes with a lot of effort). I would like to specifically mention Alison at Stibbards in Shoeburyness and Scott who conducted Dad's funeral. Both were so helpful and perfectly suited to their roles. Thank you.

Stibbards looked after our daughter who passed away and was so sensitive and helpful guiding us through the whole process and making the arrangements. They did not rush us at all, Kate , David and Simon were so respectful. I cannot thank them enough for being there for our family

Stibbards are our family’s number one choice for conducting a funeral service from start to finish.
Our 1st meeting with Kate was very important as it was the first steps to having the very best of care for my mum.
She acted with great compassion and professionalism.
Upon receiving mum at the chapel on Canvey we were always warmly welcomed by David Chittock who took over mum’s care following Kate’s retirement.
Every visit to her was respectful.
Stibbards also arranged for a celebrant to conduct the funeral service and she was absolutely brilliant. A very warm and gentle person with genuine compassion for the family and very personable.
On the day of the funeral Stuart was the conductor and he and the other members of the company were top class, everything was seamless and every detail was perfect.

Extremely professional and caring at what is a very difficult time for the bereaved. Nothing is too much troubled someone is always available to advise or just to hold your hand whether in person at the office, mobile phone or email.

Debbie and Lee were wonderful. They guaged our family perfectly and understood us and our sense of humour. The funeral was beautiful and we and our dear mum were treated with dignity and compassion every step of the way.

From the moment we called them all members of staff have been so helpful, respectful and caring. Every aspect was arranged meticulously and they helped us to navigate through all the necessary steps in a polite and professional manner. Thank you for making the funeral run so smoothly on the day. We highly recommend Stibbards. At a time of total sorrow for your loved one they are wonderful to deal with. Alison who works at Shoeburyness parlour was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her from start to finish.
