A.W. Lymn (Arnold) provided an excellent service in what were difficult circumstances at the time of my mum's passing. Ellie was our first point of contact and has been very professional throughout keeping us updated with what to do next and giving advice on how to proceed.
Everything provided has been of the highest quality from the coffin, the flowers & order of service, to the hearse and cars, pall bearers and drivers. Lymn's made a difficult time as pleasant as could be and did mum and us proud.

Russell and the staff at A W Lynn, Arnold provided an excellent and professional service at this sad and difficult time. They were kind and courteous and undertook Mum's funeral arrangements with compassion and understanding. Russell especially took us through every step of the planning and kept us informed of details right up to the funeral day itself when he was indispensable - kindly and professionally taking charge when we needed it most. We are so grateful and thank A W Lymn with all out hearts. We would certainly recommend their services.

A. W Lymns are very professional, would definitely recommend to anyone. All through the process from the time they came to see us to make the arrangements to looking after Mrs holland at the chapel of rest to the actual day of the funeral. This was handled with care and professionalism. By all members of the lymns family. And the respect they showed to my mother and all family members. We wish the thank each and everyone who took part. On the whole we were extremely pleased with the services of A.W.Lymn in Derby. The pick-up to the crematorium was delayed through no fault of A.W.Lymns but we was a little surprised that a photo board to be set up at the crematorium was not with the cars and the lead undertaker was not aware that he should have it nor was he aware that the 'order of service' pamphlets, to be distributed on seats at the crematorium, was not with them. Fortunately due to the delay, created by others, these items were hurriedly delivered to the crematorium and dealt with accordingly, had there not been a delay and a query made, they may not have been there at all. Prior to the funeral I was contacted to check if everything was as we wished this included the picture and order of service pamphlets so somewhere along the way there was a breakdown of communication. A request for a choral version of 'shine Jesus shine' had been made and a copy of the Chester Cathedral choir singing this song played to me over the phone. this was not the version played at the crematorium which was totally instrumental, being a not so well known hymn, it was a bit embarrassing as people didn't know when to start singing.
Other than these minor episodes we thought it was a job well done, thank you.

I would like to congratulate the Team at Mansfield-Woodhouse on the arrangement of Mum's funeral. Everything was done in a Professional manner by warm and friendly staff.












Special thanks to Elaine for helping my brother and I plan Mum's funeral, and getting everything just right. Also special thanks to Johnathon, for his care and compassion. They were there to listen and assist us all the way, from the moment we stepped through their door, right down to the service, which was everything we had planned, personal and perfect for Mum.

Lymns were brilliant right from the start . Very organised and understanding of our needs. At a time that  that's very sad for us, , it was one less thing to worry about because they did everything.

Only complaint was: I was led to believe that if payment for the funeral was made in advance a reduction was applied however it was not possible to do this as invoices are not sent out till afterwards.
Otherwise everything else was excellent
