I was fortunate enough to never of had to arrange a funeral before. When our Mother passed away before Christmas, I found the whole idea so daunting and stressful. I can't praise the two Mark's at Lymns in Carlton and any other staff involved with the funeral enough of our Mum enough.  Everything from start to finish - from the moment I walked into the Funeral Home, was carried out with such care, respect and professionalism and nothing was too much trouble. For such a big company I was surprised at how everything was carried out with such a personal touch. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services.

I cannot express how professional, considerate and respectful all the Team at Lymn's Beeston have been in the organising and delivery of services at my Wife's recent unexpected and tragic Funeral.
A very special thank you must go to Donna Conway,Donna supported me all the way through planning Wendy's Funeral,she knew the importance to me to have things done a certain way and Donna made sure that our Funeral was the best send off anyone could have had.
I have the upmost respect for Donna as she delivered my Funeral wishes with out fuss or question and would without question. I would recommend Donna to anyone requiring these services with out question.
It was a pleasure and honour to walk with Donna at the front of my wife's funeral procession.

Many thanks for the excellent Funeral Services provided to our family concerning the passing away of our Mum. Lymns professionalism in dealing with all aspects of the various requirements and family requests were handled efficiently with no fuss leaving us to focus on handling the grieving process and support vulnerable family members. You never want to have to use a funeral director but I would definitely use Lymns again in the sad circumstances when one is needed. Thank you

The staff I dealt with at the West Bridgford office were absolutely brilliant. There was some difficulty in obtaining the piece of music I requested for the service but Sarah and Callum managed to organise it for me. I cannot thank them enough.

I am pleased that we used a celebrant to conduct the service, Victoria did a fantastic job. They all helped to make a difficult day a little more bearable. Thank you

Everything was well organised except for slight hiccup with the cars, however it was all sorted out quickly. All the staff were very professional and respectful.

I would just like to say that everything that your company did for us was fantastic and you went above and beyond to provide everything I asked for , I would just like to say Karen at your Sutton in ashfield branch is lovely and if it wasn't for her I don't know how I would have coped . Also Adam who looked after things on the day was lovely . What more can I say you as a company are fantastic and your staff are really special people they are a credit to you , I certainly know my mum was well looked after THANKYOU.

I would have put excellent but as this is addressed to 'Mary' who is the deceased person it is a bit of a concern. 
She was Alice Mary Williams called Mary.
I am her daughter called Angela.

We we're a little uncomfortable sitting 3 large people in the back of the Rolls Royce, and we did have just under 15 minutes to wait at the crematorium, although not necessarily your  fault, they were running late.


Cheryl Smilth, the celebrant, was amazing I would certainly recommend her. Thank you Ellie for selecting her for me. 
Not only did she deliver a superb service, she was very supportive and helpful as we developed it and  nothing was too much trouble. She felt like a friend after numerous emails and discussions. Her attention to detail was superb and the smooth running of the service and the time at the crematorium was a pleasure. 

Ellie was fantastic and found all my music and hymn requests. She gave me great confidence to trust you all and rightly so. Everything was as I wished it to be. 

All the Arnold staff were very friendly and helpful.

All in all, the whole experience was excellent and went exactly as I hoped that it would. 

A big thank you to all concerned, I would certainly recommend you all without any reservations.

Everything went well and the whole team showed respect at all times. Planning a funeral was one of the worst things that we have ever had to do but Mick handled us with care and let us come to terms with what we had to do. Dad looked lovely when Mum and I visited the funeral home and again we were not rushed and Mick was very kind. Our final goodbye to our loved one was precious and important to us. We wish to thank everyone at Lymn's for the considerate and sympathetic way they handled our bereavement. They were all very helpful and friendly, the driver even drove past meaningful landscapes on the way to the crematorium.

When my wife Sam died I was completely lost on what to do and how to organise the funeral. Sam was not religious and had asked specifically for religion not to be part of her service. All I can say is that what we received from  Lymms was the most beautiful celebration of life I and our friends and have ever witnessed. Every aspect of Lymms care of Sam understanding of what we wanted and delivery was first class
Cheryl who conducted the service was that good guests asked me how long she had known Sam for. Her empathy was so moving and genuine I won't forget it. The beautiful way she entwined SAMs favourite Ellie Goulding sing into her summary was truly unique. I don't know where it stands on funeral etiquette but as I was thanking Rob after, I couldn't find my words to thank him and Nigel and the team and could only express my gratitude with a big hug for big a hearted man.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The funeral directors made us feel very easy and relaxed on the initial appointment and booking. Their professionalism and accurate timings on the day of the funeral was exemplary and we were cared for all of the time.
