I couldn't have asked for more, David and Wendy at J.W Hutchinson helped us give my dad a great send off. They were thoughtful, approachable and didn't charge a fortune or try to up sell.

They kept us informed at all times and David was amazing on the day, he ensured everything went smoothly.

I couldn't thank them enough and would definitely recommend them.

Their attention to detail was first class. Therefore the process from first contact to the interment of Maureen's ashes went smoothly so far as the family was concerned. The staff were very professional and genuinely caring and kind throughout this difficult time.

Mark Collishaw the funeral arranger was so helpful in every way. He arranged everything and nothing was to much trouble. This made thing so much easier for my Mum and me. All the staff on the day were lovely too, everything was on time and they didn't rush us at all. I would recommend Lynms -Harrods at Carlton.

We have been very impressed indeed with Angela Knight of the Littleover office. She is professional and appropriate, personable and likeable, and she has very good attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble for her.

We shall definitely use A.W. Lymn (preferably the Littleover office if that is still the appropriate office), when we need a funeral service again.

We have been similarly impressed with Kevin Hall. His guidance at our initial meeting with him was invaluable. The only thing he could improve is the tailcoat he wore on the day of our father's funeral. It looked as if it needed either a good clean or to be replaced with a new one.

When David visited me to arrange Stephen's Funeral I immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. David is a true professional, he explained all aspects of the Funeral and exactly how the service would go. I cannot praise him enough. We had a wonderful chat even smiles and laughter which, to me, made David's visit really special. On the day, David was so caring and warm and friendly and attentive to me and my family, so wonderful. Thank you so very very much. Also, Nita. The service that lymns provided was excellent. They were very thorough, efficient with the right level of empathy. Every last detail was covered.  The coffin and flowers were beautiful - the Order of Service was exactly as we wanted. They organised the music and hymns as requested. In all we couldn't have wished for a better funeral for our mother.

3 years ago we used the co-op for our dads funeral,we felt completely let down by them & they treated our dad appallingly so there was no way they were going to have the chance to do the same to our mother. We decided to go with lymns this time,to be honest we were slightly worried as we had heard they were really expensive but they were brilliant from start to finish.
The only issue i had was how long it had taken to pick our mum up from the hospital,but as they explained that wasn't down to them it was the hospital who would give them a day & time to collect your loved one.
Every issue we had,they sorted it out,politely & professionally. They made sure our mother was still treated as one of the most important people in our lives whether she had passed on or not. We didn't like leaving her so the lady at the office on nuttall rd rang to say she would stay with her until the car came to bring her to the church,its the little things like that, that you want,to know they are still cared for even after passing & not treated like a"body". They treated our mum with the respect she deserved,treated us extremely well & the pall bearers,drivers & the head pall bearer couldn't find fault with any of them,hope we won't have to use them again for a very long time & but will definitely do so,i just wish we'd have used them for our dad too,i would never use the co-op again if you paid me,oh & also they worked out cheaper than the co-op was so don't automatically think that there out of your range,you could be pleasantly surprised & it is a family run business,& they are a really nice genuine family WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT PEOPLE NOT MONEY!!

The personal service, preparation and care in arranging the funeral for my mother was exceptional. The owner and staff of Lymns could not have been more helpful or considerate at what is a very difficult time. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We found Lymms to be very helpful and friendly Russell from the Arnold Branch was superb and did us proud,  a beautiful ceremony and the cellebrant Keith Brown was fantastic and such a lovely guy.
We really are grateful to them and would recommend them to anyone.
