Donna Conroy, who looked after the arrangements for us, was helpful, sympathetic and efficient. All the arrangements went very smoothly, all as planned. The funeral service was a fitting tribute to our mother. We felt securely supported in a situation which was for us inevitably unfamiliar and difficult.

Jackie Lymn-Rose was very professional and understanding at all times. Nothing was too much trouble, helpful suggestions were made for our family's emotional needs and all of our questions were answered respectfully, quickly and with plenty of detail. We knew what to expect at every stage of the process and we were taken through all aspects of our services at the appropriate times. There is a level of professionalism, empathy and attention to detail with A W Lymn that would be difficult to find elsewhere.

A.W. Lymn have been absolutely fantastic in helping us through these difficult times. Ellie and Diana were excellent,as was the celebrant they suggested Steve Eustace,who i would highly recommend.On the day the service went brilliantly and i would like to thank everybody at A.W.Lymm for helping to create a marvellous celebration of Doris Anns life.

From the very beginning . Lymns provided a very professional and faultless service . Russell and his team performed a 6 star service . I loved it when Russ walked ahead of the hease and bowed to my dad . Thank you for making this sad event memorable for us . Perfect service .

The funeral service arranged by Lymn's in Carlton for my Father was excellent. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, consideration and compassion during this difficult time. A special thank you to Mark Collishaw for helping me with the pre service arrangements and to Mark Ridout and his colleagues for their support on the day.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because my Father's funeral was a pre paid plan which he and my mother arranged 10 years ago. In the plan they requested,and paid for, transport to the Crematorium in one car for six people. This was because they wanted us to all be together on the journey. Unfortunately we were sent two 4 seater cars not one of the six seater limousines paid for in the plan. I had specifically requested the 6 seater as I wanted my daughter & son in law with me, my husband and son so that we could support each other at such a difficult time. However we were told that the 6 seater limousines were only available at an extra cost! This was very disappointing- we all felt that they should've honoured what was arranged in the plan.
On the day everything went smoothly and apart from the car issue I have no complaints whatsoever.Nigel Lymn Rose replied
Mrs Godber, Thank you for your kind and very balanced review. I am very sorry that the situation arose with regard to the six seater car. I apologise for this and accept full responsibility for the fact that my staff have misunderstood my instruction in regard to what to do in these situations. As you rightly say your fatherâs plan included a Rolls-Royce for six passengers. Unfortunately about a decade ago it became apparent that there would be no more Rolls-Royce six or seven passenger limousines produced and we as a firm had to decide in the long term whether our replacement policy would be to change the brand and to stick with six or seven passenger limousines such as Fords or Volvos, or whether we would maintain our tradition of Rolls-Royce vehicles in which case we would have to reduce to four seaters. We decided to do the latter and changed our pre-paid plans accordingly but for all those families that had an A W Lymn Plan and had been promised one six seater Rolls-Royce we provide a free upgrade to two four seater Rolls-Royces which is what happened in the case of your fatherâs funeral. My apologies are however due as whilst we still have some, albeit older, six passenger limousines you should have been afforded one of these if you had preferred it to the two newer vehicles. Clearly this will not always be the case but it should have happened on this occasion and It would appear that I had been remiss and not made this clear to the line managers of the staff members involved. I apologise unreservedly and confirm that this situation has been clarified with our staff to prevent this problem arising again. Thank you. Nigel Lymn Rose, CEO -

i couldn't have faulted their service with every effort made to manage every detail. Relatives and friends commented.....as funerals go that was gorgeous!! Jackie's efforts were especially appreciated from Nick and Sarah Xx

Russell Kemp made us feel very comfortable and was so helpfull. My son also dealt with other staff who all helped to smooth the way very efficiently.The day of the funeral went perfectly with more help from the drivers .I will recommend Lymns' to others.
