They gently held our hands from start to finish and made a very difficult time for us, bearable.

Every care and detail in relation to planning and delivery of my mums and the family’s wishes was taken in a very professional & caring manner by Funeral Director Vicky Swain and the Gainsborough Team, Celebrant, Drivers and Cremetorium staff.

A really organised business. Sue and her team were professional and empathetic. They kept in touch and kept me up to date on what was happening.. The funeral day ran very smoothly and it was exactly as my mother would have wanted.

The care and support through the Louth office was outstanding. All the staff need a mention for organising 2 funerals for my aunt in Louth and Portsmouth. Every little question answered, any adjustments made without any fuss. My aunt was treasured and well cared for. Her every wish was respected. Thank you ALL.

Daisy and the rest of the staff where really kind, They couldn't do enough for you.The eurolgy that was read by Angela jackson was so thoughtful and the emotion she showed by reading it was as if she knew our mum personally.

Lincoln Co-op - David Gault and the team could not have offered us a better service. From David's meeting with us to the extreme professionalism shown by the other staff on the day of the funeral. The whole event was managed excellently and helped in some way us cope with a very sad day. Would highly recommend. Many thanks.

my Mum died late evening . next day early I walked in to the funeral service reception “ a broken Man”all the staff were so caring / thoughtful and rallied round to ease my grief. nothing was too much trouble for them and during the whole funeral arrangement and on the day once again ALL staff were outstanding thank you

Very good team, they handled everything, removed all stress and complications and professionally and calmly guided me through the process of choosing the right service for a tailor-made funeral which went beyond my expectations in smartness, efficiency and even picturesqueness. They handled a difficult grave-site (no vehicle access, just a long, uphill, rough woodland path in scorching summer heat) with grace and with no show of difficulty. When I arrived at the churchyard in their limousine, they had so many smart attendant staff there that it felt like a VIP event. Very impressive and honouring to the deceased.
They also organised very smart and superbly catered refreshments at Kenwick Park afterwards. It was the saddest day of my life, but Louth Co-operative Funeral Service, if it can be said, turned the event into a 'pleasure', not least from knowing that my father had been given the perfect send-off.Jess Emmerson replied
