I don’t even know if I have enough space here to write a review so I will try and keep it simple. My mother chose to take out a funeral plan with FA Albins, that was where we first met the lovely Elaine. 

Sadly mum recently passed away just after Christmas and so the process of arranging her funeral began.

There was never a time when we went into the Deptford branch or called them, that either Elaine or Lynne was at the end of the phone. They made us feel like family from day one. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The kindness surpassed all of our expectations.

As for the limo drivers, all 7 were great. One even offered my daughter some chocolate when she fainted in the church and I was told that one of my nieces was very upset and the driver that she had offered his lunch to her.

John, the lead undertaker, helped us cover my mother’s grave, I have never seen any undertakers assist in this way before and it was noticed by my family and friends. 

I could go on and on, but I won’t. If you are looking for a funeral director, do not hesitate in using this incredible, empathetic, kind and welcoming team. Thank you, the way you all were so professional made a time of sadness a brighter day x

Shirley from the Brandon St branch so professional and makes a sad situation so much easier. The funeral staff members were also exceptional and just made the whole process easier. Thank you all .

From start to finish the service and standard of care we received for my mums funeral was outstanding . The whole team were honestly amazing and a special shout out to Jo who really went out of her way with kindness , support and attention to detail like we were her own family . John and Steve  took care of every detail and the day although sad was a day I will always remember . I cannot praise Albins enough and on behalf of my family we  thank you from the bottom of our hearts  .

I couldn’t recommend Albin’s highly enough. We felt very supported from our first visit to the funeral parlour. Jo went through everything with us and gave us time to make decisions, nothing felt rushed or pressured. We were able to ask any questions and nothing seemed too much trouble. Every detail was gone through and checked prior to the day of the funeral, and I really felt that mum was cared for at every point. On the day of the funeral the whole team were highly respectful. We all felt supported and cared for on a very difficult day. Everything was timed to perfection. We wanted to drive past the care home mum had resided in, they allowed plenty of time to stop for the staff to show their respect. A flower and order of service was left at the house and care home. During the whole journey the team were calm and respectful. I truly felt mum was cared for. Every step was explained to us. They double checked details i.e did anyone want to carry the coffin, in case someone had changed their mind. The celebrant selected by Albins prepared the service following a face to face meeting. The service was pitched perfectly, she selected a poem about dementia to end the service which was very impactful.  We did not feel rushed after the service and right up to the point where we were dropped off we felt that the highest level of respect and care was shown. 
I have no negatives at all only the highest praise for this company. Their traditional approach is second to none and I am glad that we chose them to give my mum the send off that she deserved.

One phone call to Simon and he did the rest. His team were amazing, almost rather impressive in the way they funeral was conducted. Their professionalism was like no other.

Must also thank John (Simon’s nephew) for his kindness and support on the day of the funeral. His professionalism and mannerism was impressive. Well done!

The use of the Chapel on site was also a great experience. Thank you to all the staff who came out in support. 

Comments flowing in from others, went onto to say that they have never seen a funeral like this before. The whole experience made my 92 year old mother feel proud, albeit a funeral.

We have used Albin’s before and this wont be the last. Thank you all from the bottom of our heart and may your service grow in great strength, carry on doing what you do to the best!

 My husband was a Bermondsey boy and when he passed away my first thought was Albins for the funeral, they were kind, caring and so very helpful, their attention to detail is exceptional. F.A. Albins & Sons – Exceptional Service with True Class

From start to finish, the service provided by F.A. Albins & Sons has been nothing short of impeccable. They truly ooze class in every aspect of what they do.

Following the passing of my father at St Christopher’s Hospice, I dealt directly with Simon, who was absolutely incredible. From the very first moment, he took exceptional care of my dad with dignity, compassion, and professionalism. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his calm guidance made an incredibly difficult time much easier for our family.

While arranging my father’s funeral, we sadly also lost my uncle, and once again we entrusted F.A. Albins & Sons with the arrangements. Without hesitation, they delivered the same outstanding level of care, support, and attention to detail. From the outset, nothing was a problem.

My father’s funeral itself was a truly wonderful send-off. Jamie, who led the service on the day, was outstanding. Every element was carried out with precision and respect, and every plan was executed perfectly.

One moment that will stay with me forever was seeing all five limousines lined up behind the hearse outside my parents’ home, with each driver standing respectfully by their door, hats held at their midriff. It was a powerful and deeply moving sight, a moment of dignity and respect that I will never forget or stop cherishing.

I cannot thank Simon, Jamie, and the entire team at F.A. Albins & Sons enough for their hard work, compassion, and professionalism. They delivered a beautiful farewell for my father, and their service throughout has been nothing short of exceptional.
