I cant put into words just how incredible Rouse & Co were from the very start of my father's funeral to the very end. I can honestly say that they have been an instrumental part of giving my father a befitting send off. From the first phone call to taking us back to the church Mark was an incredible calming professional and compassionate presence amongst the sorrow .
The entire funeral ran so smoothly there wasn't any time during it that we felt rushed or any sign of confusion. I applaud Mark for helping my family through the most difficult time of our life. Credit must be given where credit is due . A fantastic man . Thank you so much Mark .

I was completely out of my depth with the entire process, but I was quickly reassured and guided through the process.

At such a stressful time, Mark in particular made me feel very comfortable leaving my loved one in his care.

Rouse & Co Independent funeral directors were introduced to me when my grandmother died at the end of November 2018.

I have never planned a funeral before and obviously in your grief everything is extremely daunting.  

I looked around and decided to contact three funeral directors.  Rouse & Co was the third.  As soon as I spoke to Mark Rouse my intuition told me go with this guy and I am glad I followed my intuition.

From start to finish this gentleman advised, counselled and listened.  He was caring, compassionate, extremely supportive and what he promised he delivered.  Also his prices were excellent.

My grandmother looked a million dollars, I was so proud because she always loved to look good.  The service l received for the cost was astonishing.  

A truly genuine businessman who has definitely found his calling in life.  I cannot recommenced him high enough.  He went above and beyond !!! When I had spoken to the other funeral directors I felt as if I were just another customer with Mark Rouse it was more of a personal thing and that came across strongly during the conversation with him. 

For the service I received and the brilliant cost of the funeral, from the bottom of my heart I cannot thank Mark enough.

Very caring compassionate service . We where allowed to call into the chapel of rest to visit my mum when ever we wanted out of normal opening hours. And the prices were very competitive without compromising on quality and services.

Could not have asked for a better service. Explained everything that was going to happen , if any of the family had any queries was always there to answer any questions. They were so friendly and understanding of our needs and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with everything

Mark and the team did an excellent job in organizing and carrying out our Mother's funeral. It was all done very efficiently with a lot of care. Nothing was too much trouble and he was able accommodate all the requests that we had. I would highly recommend.them.

I cannot recommend Rouse & Co. highly enough. Its always a bit difficult to choose a funeral director as most of us have limited experience and tend to stick with names we know, so I thought I was taking a bit of a chance opting for a local independent, but I was so impressed. Mark is both professional and kind and was truly dedicated to providing the best service and making it the best experience for me, and all at a very reasonable cost. In difficult times you want a professional to guide you through the steps and provide a personal service and this is exactly what Mark does. I highly recommend Rouse & Co.

Mark made an instant connection with the us and provided a fantastic service to our family.  

His priorities truly are the family members and helping you through a difficult time, making any agreed arrangements just happen seamlessly.

I would recommend rouse&co with no hesitation my brother died unexpectedly in December and as there where no parents to cover funeral costs it was a very difficult time Mark was absolutely amazing let me sit with my brother on more than one occasion out of hours as I was traveling up from Kent.top class company would highly recommend.

Dealing with funeral arrangements from 250 miles away seemed a daunting task but as soon as I spoke with Mark I felt confident that it would all be fine. My many emails and phone calls with questions were answered swiftly, efficiently and with great empathy and meeting Mark and his team on the day confirmed that dealing with an independent was far more personal than with a large chain.

Thank you Mark for all your help, right up until the ashes were scattered last week.

I could not have asked for anymore love and care than mark and co showed us. He took care of my mum when I couldn’t due to having a baby just after losing my dad. 
Nothing was ever too much trouble not even when I needed help to reach in and give my dad a kiss goodbye. I will always be eternally grateful. I recommend highly if you want your hardest days to be made a little easier with a touch of love and a lot of care. Thank you again mark and Carrie. I will never forget what you did for us. Xxxxx
