Mark was amazing from day one!
We were devastated, he offered a very kind hand on the planning and everything related with our so loved one.
There was a mistake on the death certificate which stopped us from having the cremation, straight away. Mark was kind enough to check on us all the time, and patiently  waited for the correction of the error.
He sent me pictures of the coffin when my husband arrived to the crematorium, I could feel how he embraced our family from there, over the phone!  
This morning, Mark brought the ashes, it was such emotional moment, he even accepted to use my own choice for the urn. How could we had been in better hands?
With all of our greatest gratitude, Mark you have been amazing with all of us!

we had never had to do this before and had no idea what to expect ,from start to finish we were helped along the way
very understanding and helpful with putting together the service we wanted nothing business like ,more like a lovely friend helping us
very reasonable with the fees much less than the previous quote from elsewhere

From the initial contact with Mark Rouse one had the sense that he really cared and was so respectful, gentle and extreemely kind and helpful. He made You feel that nothing was too much of a bother and treated you more like a friend than a customer without ceasing from still being very professional.

Recent, unfortunate events have led me to use Rouse and Co twice in the last 6 months.

I had no hesitation in calling Rouse and Co for the second funeral; Mark and team provided a flawless service for the first ceremony and it was a reassurance knowing that I could rely on their professionalism. On both occasions, Mark was unfailing quick to respond, helping guide through the varying processes with sensitivity and no little care, anticipating needs and ensuring everything went seamlessly.

Whilst I very much hope not to need Rouse and Co’s services again in the near future, I do wish their business all the very best!

Mark arranged for my father-in-laws direct cremation. Our family had never dealt with a direct funeral before. We found it very hard to come to terms with. From the moment we asked Rouse & Co to proceed with the arrangements Mark went and picked up my father- in-law as Mark wanted him in his care. Everything was explained to us step by step. Mark and his team are 100% professionals. The compassion and  attention to detail and are wonderful at this very stressful time. I cannot thank Rouse & Co enough for the extremely professional and kind service they have provided for my brother's funeral. Our family have used Rouse & Co several times in recent years so I had no hesitation to use them again for my brother.

Start to finish Rouse & Co were perfect for me. I've had bad experiences in the past so Rouse & Co came recommended by a close friend. I know I was a tricky customer for them - I was hard to get ahold of and always made changes - at no point did I feel pressured or that I was asking too much. A polite and personal service where we didn't feel like just another funeral. They created a special send off for my brother to be proud of.

I was recommended to use Rouse & Co. From the moment I called them everything felt so much easier as I really didn’t know where to start. They recommended other services to me which all coincided with the funeral. They were extremely helpful, kind, professional and I could not of asked for a better friendlier service. They truly were amazing. They kept me informed regarding collecting nan, ashes and even dropped nan back to us. The premises are lovely and peaceful. Very good value for money. The funeral director (Mark) presented us with all the options available without rushing us to make any decisions. He was very patient, understanding & flexible especially when we kept changing our minds. He is very reliable answering messages promptly and very honest providing details and suggestions of what we can and can't do (during lockdown) beforehand allowing us to better plan Dad's funeral. The funeral service itself was so well organised, precise and solemn and the journey to the Church and cemetery was not rushed. He has excellent people skills & good understanding of the nature of such sad occasion that speaking to him feels like talking to a friend rather than a business organising your love ones funeral (we had this experience with one high street funeral director who did my Auntie's funeral). Glad to have chosen Rouse as it has saved us quite a sum and still got a really lovely send off for Dad.

Mark & Co were amazing, they went above and beyond, done everything we had asked and more. Even though it was a sad time, they made you feel at ease.  When we visited our family member in the chapel of rest she looked beautiful. The lady that Mark put us onto for the service Grace was amazing too, she was very calm and it was such a lovely service.  Would 100% recommend Rouse & Co and would use them again.
