Mark came highly recommended after I suddenly lost my mum. Having never planned a funeral I was lost on where to start, Mark kindly and patiently talked me through the process and options. He would check in to see how things were progressing. He did his best to ensure the funeral costs remained reasonable and his approach made one of the most challenging times in our life a little bit easier. I genuinely think he is a God send and should we suffer another family loss I wouldn't feel comfortable using anyone else.

Punctual, polite, professional, perfection personified. A loving and attentive service provided from start to finish. This was our first experience with a funeral directors and Mark from Rouse & Co supported us all the way. At such a difficult time, he was always welcoming and willing to help, answering all our questions and requests with patience and understanding. Rouse & Co are a true gem in their field of business. They were recommended to me by my neighbours, for which I am most grateful. I am now keen to pass on the best word as they deserve recognition and gratitude for the superb quality of service and the ethos of their work.

My dear Mum died at the peak of the Covid epidemic, and although she was SARS-CV2 negative all the CV19 restrictions applied to the funeral-related procedures. Those rules were then newly introduced and subject to daily amendments, which made funeral planning particularly difficult. The Covid crisis rules were very restrictive from both logistic and emotional points of view. Just imagine a funeral with only a handful of mourners permitted, each 2 meters apart, with no human touch allowed. I was devastated that my lovely Mum won't have a proper funeral that she so well deserved. But Mark Rouse took simply excellent care of her last journey in April 2020 and guided me through that saddest and most difficult of times with full understanding, compassion, empathy, and efficiency. Mark has been most supportive and kind to me, both pre- and post-funeral in a manner that was empathetic and professional in equal measures, while organising the funeral in the most efficient and smooth manner despite the dire external circumstances. I have thought about how he manages to balance the core of his demanding work with his compassion for clients as it must be a difficult and fine balance to achieve, and I concluded that he has a natural gift for this profession.

I would like to thank Mark Rouse for executing Mum's funeral so well under such difficult circumstances, and for his much-appreciated insight, support, and help during my bereavement worsened by the fact that it has overlapped with the dreadful time of social isolation and distancing, and loneliness during the Covid-19 epidemic. I wish Mark Rouse & Co every success and satisfaction they so well deserve.

Mark and his family where fantastic my wife Sharon died of Covid-19 back in April and we where looked after so well.
We even had what we wanted white horses and a white carriage.
Mark made me and my family so relaxed and kept us up to date all the way.

Mark and his team were amazing and made everything a lot easier at what was one of the most difficult times in our lives, nothing was too much trouble and offered a true personal service.  We had a last minute change in the music as someone had sent us a recording of a tribute they had sung and this was sorted without any fuss.  I would highly recommend to anyone

All at Rouse & Co were amazing! Very professional and made us all at ease from the very first contact to the end of mum's ceromony. We had changed our minds on the ceremony a number of times due to the current coronavirus situation, the guys were amazing and assisted every step of the way.

A very understanding and accommodating outfit, I would highly recommend them to all experiencing such difficult times of arranging a funeral for a loved one.

I can’t praise this family company enough, they are so helpful, and do go that extra mile for you. They helped me through some difficult times, nothing was too much trouble for them. 
I’ve had to arrange 3 funerals in past 4 years , used a very high end company for the first one , which was very costly , had a recommended for rouse and co when my father died so decided to give them a try , exactly the same if not better service then a very well known company here in Croydon , please use them, they are genuine caring people. Have just them again for my poor uncle .
