Following the sudden death of my Mum with a Coroners investigation I cannot thank Mark Rouse and his family for making my Mum’s funeral arrangements smooth.

Nothing was too much trouble and any last minute worries were smoothed by Mark and Carrie-Anne. Any number of viewings with relatives that had travelled were no trouble and Mum was just so serenely presented in her coffin, it was just what Mum would have hoped for.

Mark was just so respectful and professional yet caring, kind and personal, he went above and beyond.

Thank you for looking after my precious Mum like she was your own.

I am especially glad I chose a small family local company so the personal touch was very welcome. There was absolutely no hard sell.

From the printers to the Celebrant and coffin bearers to the care with flowers at the crematorium, it was all worry free.

Under very difficult circumstances, Mark's help and support throughout, made a very sudden and tragic loss much easier to cope with. The kindness shown to the family was appreciated by all. Mark was present every step of the way on the day of the funeral, so everything ran smoothly. The funeral was unique and individual, showcasing the life of a much loved cousin.

The first 2 funeral firms i contacted were full of false plastic compassion while trying to completely rip me off with hugely over priced costing. Rouse & Co where recommended to me. I called and was dealt with respect, honesty and a genuine warmth, the pricing was fair and on some extras I wasnt even charged. Professionally handled funeral. Being members of my family this was an extremely hard day for them saying goodbye to my wonderful husband. The care and support they gave the family was outstanding. I cannot praise Rouse and Co highly enough for their kindness and efficiency in looking after my deceased Uncle so respectfully and arranging all aspects of his funeral. Members of my family were very touched with the way the funeral went – they thought it was a beautiful memorial.

Mark Rouse and his colleagues managed the coffin and hearse in a stately and dignified way, integrating my cousins into their team as family pall bearers, and then looking after my uncle's sisters and brother-in-law in the limousine.

Mark also arranged for the expert production of the Order of Service, which included a number of photographs which had been reproduced remarkably well from some very old copies - the quality of the final product was outstanding.

In addition, Mark recommended the florist who arranged the tribute of roses for my uncle’s coffin: we absolutely loved them and they were perfect in every way – everything we could have hoped for.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my grateful thanks to Mark Rouse and his team. Their kindness, patience and expertise were hugely appreciated. They made a sad and traumatic process so very much easier, and gave me the confidence that at least in practical terms, everything would be all right on the day. And my uncle’s four elderly sisters were given the comfort that they had done right by their brother to the very end – something that would not have been possible without this amazing Funeral Director.

To say Mr. Mark Rouse went “ above and beyond” to take care of my Mother’s funeral arrangements would be an understatement. The quality of service  extended to my brother and me  from Rouse and Co was EXCEPTIONAL. Mark was extremely kind and thoughtful and  he provided great reassurance and comfort that  all aspects of the funeral arrangements would be handled with dignity and compassion.

They selected an excellent non minister Dawn Williams to  carry us all throthe service 
And managed to delay the service for 15 minutes as 3 mourners were delayed and arrived late
