Thanks to Sharon in the Rainham office for helping us through the planning etc for my father , George Newcombe's , funeral. Thanks to John Weir , Kevin and the other gentlemen who assisted my brother and I in carrying my father to his final resting place. It was an honour to be able to personally lay my father to rest , a final tribute to him.

Very helpful with all our wishes, but if you don't ask for something at the time of making the arrangements then you might be a little disappointed.
The moral is to make sure you ask about everything even if you think it's trivial but I couldn't fault the way we were treated.

The entire funeral process was extremely well handled. A small observation/suggestion - could the meeting room at the New Road Office be made a little less functional and cold?

I cannot thank Amanda (Chatham Branch) enough for the way in which she dealt with my father and I after my mothers death.  Naturally we were grief stricken and quite bewildered during the first week but Amanda showed so much empathy and compassion right from day one and she eased us  the through 4 weeks leading up to my mums funeral.  She couldn't do enough to help us and even phoned us the day after the funeral to see how myself and father were and if their was anything else she could do to help.  Amanda is a true asset to the company with excellent customer service skills and I would not hesitate to recommend John Weir Funeral directors in the future. Thank you again Amanda.
