Respectful, courteous, kind and caring staff at all levels, who made a difficult, emotional time much less stressful by their professional, yet friendly manner.  This is the third time I have had  to use a funeral director and I would not hesitate to highly recommend John Weir, as I have always been extremely pleased with all aspects of their service, from their efficient, respectful staff to the smooth running of the event itself.

The company was very professional and looked after all our needs,the ones that they could at the time.
The piper was a lovely touch except I was promised a busby and not the head dress he was wearing and this is not a reflection on funeral company.
The vicar also made a mistake but I did get a apology from him.
Over all I would recommend John Weir to others.

Julia was fantastic at such a difficult time, she really helped us not only with the funeral but also by Linking us to local expertise such as flowers and the crematorium. On the day the funeral director was excellent. Thank you for your professionalism, it made a very sad day go the best it could.

John Weir and, in particular Melanie Leeman, looked after our family with the utmost care, respect and attention. Always on hand for any questions and incredibly accommodating in every way she allayed our fears and made us feel comfortable and the process as straightforward and streamlined as it could possibly be. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend John Weirs and their incredibly professional but warm approach to what is inevitably an incredibly difficult process for any bereaved family to go through. your Gillingham branch highly enough or thank them enough for the excellent service they provided us with in every aspect of the arrangements for my mother's funeral.
From the very start of the proceedings, we were in the excellent hands of Theresa. We were immediately struck not only by her extreme professionalism and efficiency, but also by her very warm and caring attitude towards us. She is a real credit to you. The perfect person to deal with those who are grieving and in need of her expert guidance at a difficult time. Nothing was
too much trouble for her and her great attention to detail meant everything went seamlessly
The team of chauffeurs and pallbearers we had on the day of the funeral, led so expertly by Shane,

carried out their duties with great dignity, care and deference to us all. It was a sad but very special day for us, and this was all made possible by your wonderful employees.

The funeral for my mother, Cherry, Philomena, Burgess, was excellent. The arrangement and organisation conducted by John Weir, was second to none. The entire event, initially organised by Theresa Butters, and also the funeral itself overseen and participated in by Shane and his team, was the most professional and caring ceremony I have been involved with. Words cannot described my gratitude to John Weir, for making what is a very sad and stressful time, as easy as possible.
