We had never organised a funeral before, so having decided to take the service ourselves, we depended on John Weir for guidance, and they were very helpful and sensitive, both beforehand and at the crematorium.
There was a problem getting the death registered, and Amanda sorted it out for us.

Thanks to Sharon who made the funeral preparations for Dad stress free and to the courtesy and professionalism of the drivers/staff on the actual day.

The day of the funeral could not have been any smoother and my Dad would have been delighted!  A truly wonderful send off for him!

I have always used John Weir in the past for the simple reason that I can entrust them with finer details to help make a very stressful day go well.  Again they did not disappoint!

A special mention goes to Les Atterbury who was my main contact.  He was extremely helpful and put great effort into finding the right music tributes.  His attention to detail and communication was exceptional and this ultimately helped towards a difficult day being a success.  I would also like to add that on the day Les’s colleagues were very professional and Amanda very supportive.

Thank you all very much…you did us proud!

What an incredible funeral for Vince. With the help of Les at Gillingham I was able to plan each part of the funeral service to my exact requests. Helped also by Amanda to finalise details for a military funeral and committal service. The conductor and his team took care of family and friends and guided the mourners through every step. Very friendly and approachable. Amanda was always more than helpful and understanding. Always listening to my aunt's life stories and expectations.
The coffin bearers were very helpful in assisting me of where to park with my disabled mother. Which can be a stressful experience at the best of times. The drivers worked miracles in parking outside the house. Which is in a very narrow road.
A huge thank you and well done to all !
