All of the staff we dealt with were courteous, kind and very professional. Especially Traci and Liam, who were able to answer all our questions, no matter  how difficult. They helped us through, what to us, was a very difficult situation and helped to make everything go smoothly.

Unfortunately I’ve had two funerals very close together but Peter & Nichola were very professional and helpful. Making everything smooth & easy to arrange. 
On the day itself  Peter & the other staff all very professional made it a very smooth lovely funeral for my mum.

We used Thornalley funeral directors for my father’s funeral and recently my mother’s funeral and I cannot praise them enough.

We couldn't have asked for a better team to support the family with our Dads final memories. Down to the smallest gestures and details Dean and the rest of the Thornalley team were one step ahead of us to make everything as nice as possible.

A totally professional Company from start to finish, regardless of staff hierarchy. Empathetic staff without being patronising, kept us informed at all times and even when we turned up without appt managed to accommodate our needs. Dean called on the morning of the funeral to make sure we were all ok and if we still had any questions - 8.30am!
They did a 'drive past' outside the care home where mum last lived so that the residents could pay their respects. We expected a drive around the horseshoe shaped road and for the family cars to join the procession behind the hearse but instead Dean (funeral director) exited the hearse, walked in front of it past the residents and bowed to them and the coffin then escorted the hearse past the family members waiting to join the cortege.
At the crematorium, everything was explained to the family members that were going to carry the coffin and the whole programme ran smoothly and without incident. Hopefully they will stay as an independent Company and continue to give this first rate service.
