Choosing a funeral director is such a tough choice especially with everything else you’re thinking, but I cannot recommend them enough, from the initial contact to the collecting of the my dad, empathising with our loss and guiding us through our grief to give our loved one a perfect send off. Everyone at Thornallys were just amazing, nothing is too much trouble, you don’t feel rushed into decisions and they only want things to be right for you and your loved ones.

Compassionate, caring ,gentle non rushed service. Everything explained easily. This is the first time I have used a simple cremation only and was comforting knowing Mam would be cremated locally with our chosen funeral director.

As a family we can't thank the team enough, the care and respect that they gave to our baby girl was outstanding. The support they gave to us as a family has helped us through such an emotional and difficult time. They talked us through the whole process in a manner that fitted to us and gave us time to process what was happening and what was needed to be done, the compassion and understanding that they showed from the phone calls to check on us to the much needed hugs when we visited the chapel of rest made all the difference to our grieving.

The funeral was conducted by Andrew and I was kept up to date at all times. It was a lovely simple ceremony and one person said he had been to many funerals but this was up there with one of the best.

The staff were very kind and had time for me, I felt they considered my feelings and did everything they could to help me through a very difficult time. I felt reassured and confident that my loved one was safe and respected while in their care. Peter and the team at thornalleys delivered another fantastic service.
It is a difficult time ,saying goodbye to a loved one,the team at thornalleys are with you every step of the way to give you choices and help to arrange the send off you want,when you are not operating at your best and navigating forms and bureaucracy you are not used to-they are there so you can concentrate on whats important to you.
I cannot recommend them Highly enough and thank them for helping me give my parents the respect and final journey they deserved.

I have now planned three funerals with Thornalleys. One at Kings Lynn and two with Dersingham. Their service is faultless and they make a difficult time, much easier. I sadly lost my husband last year and my Dad this year. Sam and Nicky at Dersingham are kindness itself and always greet you with a really nice smile and a warm welcome, whatever you’re popping in to do or ask. 
Very professional but with a human side.
