Everyone at John Weir was so kind and compassionate when helping us to organise my husband Gary's funeral. They supported us through every detail of the planning and on the day the funeral was absolutely beautiful. We were guided through every step, which is what you need when you are grieving. They recommended a local florist who provided absolutely stunning flowers, they were able to work the date and time of the service to match up with the venue where the wake was being held, and every time I had any questions - which was a lot - they got straight back to me with all of the information I needed. They handled everything with great sensitivity, most especially the care of my husband when he was taken to them from the hospice where he passed away. Gary was only 46 when he passed away, and his funeral had 200 mourners - John Weir were able to accommodate a service of this size, which was a relief. They were also able to recommend a wonderful celebrant to take the service. When I made the very first phone call to ask them to take on the job of arranging Gary's funeral it was Easter Sunday and there was still somebody there answering the phone, which was a surprise and a relief that I was immensely grateful for. Thank you to everyone at John Weir Rainham branch - especially Sharon, who was such a huge help and support throughout.

Emma at your Parkwood office supported us through the funeral arrangements with kindness and understanding. Kevin who managed the day itself with true professionalism and Mark, the limousine driver, who helped us feel comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings - every detail was handled with compassion.
We are a family who laugh, even in difficult times, and that was not only accepted but warmly encouraged which meant so much to us.

John weir went over and above to support us.  All the little, important things that meant the world to us, John weir endeavoured to do. They went back over records from years ago to ensure my father’s funeral was similar to his siblings.  They spoke to me frequently and on the day, everything went better than expected. I can’t thank them enough for making my dad’s special day, very special
