At such a difficult time my family and I could not have made a better choice.  John Weir were so professional and personable going above and beyond their usual duties, if they thought we were remotely struggling or feeling overwhelmed.  Sharon was particularly helpful and was always on hand to answer queries or helping us to make decisions and just making our ordeal as easy as she possibly could. 

The respect they showed my mum and my family will always be remembered and I cannot recommend this firm enough.

I'd like to thank Deana and everyone at John Weir, for looking after my beloved partner Lloyd Vaughn Thomas. Deana showed total love, compassion and caring, nothing was to much trouble. Deana came in with me to say goodbye to Lloyd as I was very nervous. On the day of the funeral everything was absolutely perfect.Ive used John Weir for three family funerals, and cannot recommend them highly enough.Thankyou to all staff, your all amazing.

The process of organising my recently deceased husband's funeral was seamless from start to finish. I cannot thank Deana enough for the way she handled all of the arrangements, she was thoughtful and sympathetic and kept me updated on all of the process. She made a very traumatic time just that bit more bearable, so thank you Deana for everything. Also, on the day of the service, Kevin and the team were brilliant, so kind and caring. You have a fantastic team and should be very proud of them.

Having recently used the services of John Weir Chatham branch, I can only give praise. 
Les was my contact and he dealt with our sad loss with such professionalism, calm, empathetic and efficient. He led us through the difficult journey, checking every detail along the way so that everything was as it should be on the funeral day. He was always readily available to speak to on the phone and answered emails and text messages promptly which was much appreciated.
We had a lovely celebrant conducting the service, Kathryn who all attendees were impressed by. Thank you for Kathryn.
Also the funeral director and staff on the day of the funeral were so kind and exact in their duties.
I, my family and my cousin Dea’s friends are so grateful that the service befitted such a lovely lady and helped us remember her with a smile.

From the very first phone call to John Weir at Rainham (Kent) through to the funeral and aftercare the whole team have been AMAZING! On behalf of Dad and all of our family I would like to sincerely thank John’s team for their kindness, professionalism and respect during our families sad and difficult time. When a close family passes it is overwhelming especially with all the official procedures that have to be done, Sharon has explained each step clearly and efficiently (but also kept checking that everything was going according to plan!) Anna who looked after me was not only extremely professional but also so very caring. Nothing and I mean nothing was ever too much trouble.  I truly appreciated the time she gave me.  She is an asset to John Weir. 




Mum was looked after to the highest of standards, I couldn’t have asked for more.  Your kindness and attention to detail made a difficult time more bearable. I deeply appreciate all you’ve done and can’t thank you enough. I know my mum would have been so proud of the whole service she received.  The whole team are a credit to the business.

Les at Chatham was fantastic from start to finish, even though we went for a more simplistic service we never felt like we were getting less from the team at John Weir. From making arrangements to the actual day everything went off without a hitch. Also did an amazing job finding the Celebrant, Sarah Lamport, for the service, after only a few hours with me and the family she was able to pull together a fantastic tribute to our mum

Professional and empathic experience throughout.  Debbie from the Parkwood branch was friendly and made the planning for my husband’s cremation service as straightforward and stress free as it could be. There was no pressure to purchase additional items and advice was given, which was in my best interest,when I asked for it. Debbie always checked how I was managing my loss. I was never rushed out of the office and I felt that she genuinely cared about my husband having the best send off.  The celebrant recommended, Gemma Grant, was brilliant, even coming to talk to me and my children on Good Friday. She contributed to our ideas on what to include in the tribute, making it flow effortlessly and delivered it exactly as we wanted. The Funeral Director did a wonderful job, even arranging for my husband’s company’s vehicle to follow the hearse into the crematorium grounds at the last minute, which made the day. 

I cannot thank all those involved at John Weir enough for making a sad day such a fitting occasion for my husband. It was everything I wished for him and couldn’t have gone better.  I had so many people comment on how moving and memorable it was.
