Our Funeral Director, Simon, and all of the staff at Fielder's York provided a professional, comprehensive service that adapted to our needs. My wife died suddenly at a young age, 240 miles from our home city. Fielder's made all the requested arrangements, taking any complicated tasks off our hands to ensure that the day ran as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend their service.

We couldn't have asked for better service from Jon. even on the e-mails we were receiving in Australia, we could tell by the way he wrote the email we had a good team.

it was nice to put a face to the email a few days before the service, also with Rev. John.

Everyone said on the day how nice the service was & how sincere everyone was, proving they love what they are doing & it's not just a job.

We were treated with the upmost respect from the first moment, right through to the end of the service. Our wishes for my father’s cremation service could not have been carried out more beautifully. My special thanks go to Chris Fielder, who made the whole process so much less stressful than it could easily have been. He does his job with enviable precision, whilst remaining both kind and compassionate.

Fielder's provided a speedy service following my initial phone call to Chris and kept me informed at all stages. Simon visited me at home and talked through the formalities and forms required. On the day the funeral arrangements went very well. I am glad I trusted Fielders.

The family and other mourners were impressed by the efficiency and sensitivity of the service, and I was relieved of all the difficulty of co-ordinating the arrangements and tributes from various quarters. It seemed that anything we wanted was made possible, and a programme of selected music was created, it seemed, effortlessly. This was all provided with quietly supportive friendliness, and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Keith Houlston who looked after our arrangements on each occasion was always professional but also took a personal interest in our needs. He was helpful, supplying the information we required and keeping us up to date with preparations. We would not hesitate to recommend Fielder's care.
