I wish to express .my deepest gratitude to Chris Fielder for his compassion, consideration, understanding & guidance in arranging my sons funeral and respectfully caring for him. I am extremely grateful to everyone at Fielders who undertook all requests with courtesy & utmost respect. Louisa Starr compiled a poignant account of my sons life, even managing a few welcoming giggles at The Hospitium, Museum Gardens was . Bradshaws of York provided a varied, high quality & tasty buffet throughout the day.
I cannot praise all of you enough for willingly providing a first class service. I would undoubtedly seek your service in the future but hopefully, wont be needing you too soon. THANK YOU

A highly professional service. Always very helpful,sympathetic and prompt to answer queries. Sorted my mothers funeral in 8 days. Listened to us, the client, and reassured us that we were in the driving seat and were not expected to follow a fixed or traditional service. They would endeavour to make everything how we wanted.

The personal service and attention to detail we received from John Tattersall was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and he took care to provide all the information requested , and checked that personal items were placed with our aunt as requested. He was sensitive to our feelings and explained how the service would proceed. 
At a time that is never easy for families , I would definitely recommend this company.

The recent sudden death of my husband was the most traumatic and stressful event I have lived through. From the first phone call in a shocked and dazed state they helped my son and I through a process that no one ever wants to have to go through.
Chris was kind thoughtful and helpful and we were able to trust him and his team with not only all the formalities but the personal requests worries or concerns that cropped up.
They enabled us to say our goodbyes and have the service we needed.

Fielders were fantastic, especially Keith Houlston. My parents died within nine weeks of each other and Fielders were with me and my family every step of the way.  Having never organised a funeral and being an only child the whole firm extended every support we needed.
