My parents died within nine weeks of each other and Fielders were with me and my family every step of the way.  Having never organised a funeral and being an only child the whole firm extended every support we needed. Chris Fielder couldn’t have been more professional-compassionate - or able to make you believe you are the only family he has to please - easy to chat to-available for any requests- took away all our concerns and always available to chat to on either email/Skype/or any genre. Everything we asked for with regard to the Order of Service was accomplished -mum being  dressed in her Wrens uniform was  taken with respect -we couldn’t have asked for more.

We used fielders after my partner had used them previously for her mums passing.
From the moment we contacted Fielders to the day of the funeral they couldn’t of done enough. Chris was particularly lovely and made everything feel so calm and stress free. 
The options from the casket, to flowers, hymns, and choice of our own design for the order of service booklet was seemless.
They certainly are A very kind and thoughtful funeral directors and I certainly won’t hesitate to sing there praises over and over.

Highly recommend Fielders for their professionalism and compassionate service. I had to arrange the funeral for my mother “long distance” from the USA and Chris Fielder and his team made it as easy as possible with their help and advice. The resulting funeral was the best possible memorial for my Mother and everyone who attended commented on and complimented the service received from Fielders.

I gained an excellent impression when I rang on the day my father died. The lady I spoke to was very comforting and helpful. She used just the right phrasing for the situation. She did not presume that I would choose their business and was appreciative when I rang back. Everything was done as planned. The funeral took place at the crematorium and the arrangements were dignified. The only tricky part was sorting out the music for Harrogate crematorium which does not have the Wesley system. I would recommend sorting out the organist and other music at an early stage, particularly around Christmas time.

JG Fielder Funeral Directors were excellent, covering all the bases in a friendly, sensitive manner that greatly helped ease the stress of arranging a cremation. They were professional throughout and totally reliable, generating confidence and trust. Everyone present commented on how personal and appropriate the whole event was. The background paperwork was meticulous and they collated all expenses, including for the Wake and the Service Celebrant, so we only had one bill to worry about. Highly recommended.
