Regarding the funeral of my husband, Norman Pinkney on July 23rd: The care and help that I received from Gillotts, Kimberley were exemplary.Everything was excellent. Particular thanks to Alan Winfield, for his guidance and patience, and also to Kelly for her help. Norman had to have a special casket coffin made, and Alan explained to me the difference between that and the normal ones. He carried out his duties in a very caring and unobtrusive way. Thank You.

Gillotts were professional and caring from the beginning. We needed to arrange the funeral of a dear friend. My husband is next of kin and our friend died at home, as were his wishes. We couldn't have asked for more from Gillotts, for ourselves or our late friend; from the time they collected our friend, through to making all the arrangements, I felt they acted with upmost care and respect.
The people who attended the funeral also commented about how well organized they were.

I wanted to say thank you to all the staff, Alan was brilliant when we came to arrange the funeral and gave us all the right options he was very caring, jodie was amazing the order was service was perfect it showed my dads fun side as well as his caring side

It’s never easy to arrange the funeral of a loved family member, even harder when an unexpected suicide happens. Having experiences of other loved family passing and their funerals being arranged by the same directors I knew Gillotts would provide compassion, empathy and professionalism. With there personal service at a difficult time and during lockdown it was a relief to see familiar faces and new ones pulling together for an A1 service. Before during and after, I don’t think I could of coped without you all by my side. Many thanks to Diane Lightowler, Alan, Jody and all of your team. I would not hesitate to recommend your services. A funeral is something that, hopefully, one experiences only rarely and it can be daunting to think about planning and organising one. Thankfully, we were fortunate in choosing Gillotts in Kimberley to take care of the arrangements for my mother's funeral last week - and take care of us they did. From the initial conversation with Kelly to the actual funeral a couple of weeks later, we could not have been in better hands. Everyone was professional, caring and considerate. Every detail was thoroughly planned and executed. We were guided through the process from start to finish.  I can't thank them all enough for helping us all through a difficult time.
