From the beginning to the end Gillotts were superb.

Claire was incredibly supportive and is an absolute credit to Gillotts. Her professionalism & attention to detail is outstanding, we cannot thank her enough. 

On the day of my dads funeral Gillotts staff were wonderful.

Gillotts have been absolutely outstanding. Our circumstances meant that our family member had to be collected from home. Everything was dignified and we really felt as though our loved one was still with family. 
All of my dealings with any member of the Gillotts team were calm, reassuring and patient. I really felt as though both myself and my wider family were supported every step of the way on such a difficult journey.
Nothing has been rushed and time was the most valuable gift Gillotts gave to us. Time to adjust, to say goodbye, to share our memories, to share our feelings. 
Anthony was our funeral director and he was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and he helped guide us in creating the perfect goodbye.
As difficult as death can be and as odd as it may sound I would highly recommend Gillotts. We felt that both ourselves and our loved one were cared for and that we mattered. Thank you so much to the whole team - Gillotts Heanor you have made the worst of times feel lighter.

From the professional and courteous collection of my husband's body and all the organising that went on behind the scenes and on the day from Gillotts. They never raised an eyebrow when I asked for my own personal interpretations in memory of my husband. He had a cremation service which included a living wreath made of living perennials from a local nursery which my husband used to frequent, for people to take home and plant in their garden as a memory to my husband. Thank you all at Gillotts whatever part you played.
