From start to finish everyone at Gillott’s, Eastwood has been simply wonderful. They are kind, respectful and dignified without being at all starchy or aloof. We felt that they genuinely cared about our family and our loss. My Grandad was clearly treated with the utmost care and respect which we could see when we visited him in the Chapel of Rest. Paul took us through all the arrangements in a gentle and respectful way whilst also keeping the discussions light and humorous where needed. He matched us with the perfect celebrant, Shirley Gray, who delivered the service beautifully. I spoke to Claire and Alison at various stages throughout the process and they were equally easy to talk to, helpful, caring and reassuring. Anthony looked after us on the day of the funeral and his caring, respectful demeanour made an incredibly difficult day just that little bit more bearable. The drivers were second to none, making our final journey with Grandad through the greenery of Cossall feel so special. We honestly cannot fault any part of the process at all and are so grateful to the whole Gillott’s team for helping us to give my Grandad the send off he truly deserved.

Gillotts did a direct cremation for my mum. They even played her favourite music has they took her into crematorium. Anthony at Gillotts is wonderful. Gillotts also did my dad's funeral service. I rate them highly.

From the day mum passed away Gillots funeral directors were there for us. Anthony and Danni have been great support for all the family. They looked after mum with respect and kindness. Even on the day of the funeral we couldn't have wished for better care. Thank you all so much.

After making a appointment with Gillotts, l went too talk about my mums funeral needs,lucky enough my mum had paid for her funeral, she had also left all she wanted with the service,
the undertaker maid sure that all me mum had asked for was all in line,l agreed and said everything seems good,l went back a few days later with photos, again the staff at Gillotts was yet again very helpful, on the Friday before the funeral l went to see my mum,Gillotts had dressed me in clothes l had dropped off, they had made a great appearance of my mum,that will always stay in my heart how peaceful she looked,the day of the funeral l asked Gillotts to come up to the house were my mum had lived for 48 years,we then went down to the Chapel ,everything that Gillotts had to carry out was done with compassion, then Gillotts took me mum over to the crematorium, and once again Gillotts carried out everything professionally and l thanked them very much for a great service they had been part of.
