From the minute I phoned every member of staff was compassionate and courteous. I felt listened to and nothing was too much trouble. They kept me updated, provided all that I requested and the funeral itself was flawless. They contacted me the day after the funeral to see how I was and offer further support as required. Highly recommended professional yet personal family business.

My father worked alongside Thornalleys for many years and appreciated their kindness' sense of humour. and the respect they showed for the deceased and their families. That is one of the main reasons he chose Thornalleys to care for him once he had gone (and the fact the hearse bore his initials!).
His trust in them is well deserved. Andrew and his staff proved to be most courteous, caring, highly organised, efficient and discreet.

Dave opted for a “simple cremation “ no service and basic coffin etc. Despite this the service received from Chapman’s and Thornalley’s was anything but basic. They were excellent throughout and  could not have been more supportive. I especially want to thank Nichola for her care and wonderful understanding. She really helped make a very difficult situation easier to bear. I highly recommend this Funeral Home.

It is difficult to fund the right words to describe the service which was provided by Thornally Funeral Services.  From the very first visit to their offices they were empathetic, kind and quietly professional.  I visited my husband, Michael, three times in the chapel of rest and never, for one moment, felt that I was being a nuisance.  On the day of the funeral every single detail had been thought of and it was perfect.  My husband was laid to rest in our local churchyard with dignity and respect.   My personal thanks to Ray Thornally who looked after and cared for me on the day. Thank you to everyone at Thornally Funeral Services for making such a sad occasion with gentleness and understanding.

Excellent service, well informed over the days up to the funeral. My mother had a lovely send off, considering all the problems with covid etc.
