Thornalley provided a professional and caring service. Andrew and colleagues were always available to answer our questions and guide us through en emotional time. Celebrant Verne Lee, from our memories and anecdotes, gave tribute to mum's life and read the poems we had chosen. When you need someone to be there and have everything go smoothly, Thornalley manage with compassion to guide you through.

From the initial phone call there has been nothing but kindness and care. The advice and help we have received has been superb. Nicola kept us updated all the time and helped in any way she could, we were never rushed. On the day of the service Andrew looked after us so gently and well through a very difficult time. The service led by Janet was beautiful and how she wove together what we had told her was brilliant. Her words were very moving and appropriate.
All of this care and attention has helped us considerably through this time.

After losing our daughter aged 5, Andrew, Tracy and the rest of the staff put us at easy and helped us on what we needed to do next and supported us in making decisions to help make Annabels celebration day the most perfect day it could have been. The support from everyone was outstanding! The Chapel of rest was such a peaceful place for us to visit and the whole team made every moment special for us!

I thought that the service from day one when we first met Nichola (when I first approached Chapman's) was thoughtful and considered throughout. She at all times showed professionalism certainly with deep regard for genuine sympathy showed to me and my son-in-law. The company's attention to detail was quiet outstanding both during in the negotiation and on the day of Sylvia's funeral. Peter, the funeral director and the ushers were both polite and sympathetic without too much regimentation. The funeral service was quiet acceptable which created the correct ambience and heartfelt feeling shown to those in mourning Sylvia's loss. Janet Qualters conducted the Celebration of Sylvia's Life with a quiet assuredness and created what I would call genuine a sort of 'calm'. I think all those attending would all agree with my sentiments. R W Murray
