Exceptional is the first word that comes to mind when thinking back on how compassionate, caring and respectfully Andrew handled my father’s funeral.

Unfortunately, the funeral was held during covid- 19 lockdown but Government procedures were adhered to whilst providing a professional respectful service. Thornalley Funeral Services also provided a live streaming of the funeral services at Mintlyn Crematorium, enabling family and friends to watch the service in the safety of their own homes.

Andrew managed flawlessly to arrange every single wish, from music requested, to one of the best celebrants, the celebrant Verne handled the service as if she had known my Father, she was remarkable and a credit to her profession.

Andrew was so empathetic to our thoughts and wishes and dealt with everything he could to help make this happen, from the first phone call his compassion and attention to our wishes was second to none!

I would certainly recommend Thornalley Funeral services to my family and friends.

I cannot thank them enough for all their support in dealing with my father’s unexpected death recently. The team that came out to collect him at 2.45am still looked completely professional and they were also very kind.
Nicola and Derek took such great care of us throughout the whole process and both my Mum and I felt they really cared,it wasn’t just a job for them. We were able to tailor the funeral the way we wanted it, and the Order of  Service they created was really lovely.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

In the current climate of covid the staff have been amazingly helpful, friendly, respectful, in the safest way possible for all . We first used them back in 2001 and found they still provide outstanding professional service. As a family we would have no hesitation to recommend there services .

Right from the start, Thornalley staff were so comforting and kind as they talked through the arrangements with us. The place of rest
in the funeral parlour where we said goodbye to our loved one was peaceful, soothing and calm. We thought that Ray Thornalley truly went the extra mile to give our husband / Dad a beautiful and dignified ceremony. Nothing was too much trouble. The funeral cortege looked stately as it proceeded down our road.
